Noisy cricket ii - maintenance

Since its an unregulated mech mod (kinda)

Doesn't it need cleaning?
I cleaned my mech mods today. The internal brass and copper parts.

Shouldn't I be doing the same for the noisy cricket too?

yes, it's important on any mod, really, but mechs especially.

Noisy Cricket 1? Sure. It is easy to disassemble.

Oops...Cricket II? Not much to clean at all...just the contacts...carefully.

I should've been clearer in my post.

How do I take it apart?

I can clean the negative posts obviously.
What about other parts?

Cricket 1: Remove the bottom plate with a phillips...remove the hybrid adapter and the switch...disassemble the switch (3mm hex)...clean everything as usual...assemble...done! Easy.

Cricket II: Nothing to disassemble...almost nothing to clean...just the contacts including the positive contacts inside and the 510 with a Q-Tip and some alcohol or something like that.
