Hey guys,

So i currently have a protank which i generally enjoy a lot, but i keep seeing pics n threads of higher end mods n most people seem to use cartos on there and am wondering if they are a lot better or just a different preferential experience. Im trying to get even more flavor than what the protank gives me, ps im using a vv ego right now but im gonna upgrade to an apv shortly, still deciding which one to get ;)

thx in advance i love this place

What voltage and ohm of your coils? You can name a gazillion tanks or carto's or whatever....but without the important is the resistance and voltage which will give us a hint to wattage

I am running a Totally Wicked Tornado RCS, coil is 2.4Ω and regulated 3.7vdc...it does come with a 1.8Ω which means higher heat thus more vapor (but there are other things to take into account like PG/VG ratio and thickness of juice, heck even temperature of juice)

Personally, I don't like cartos on their own. Too much topping off to keep the poly flavor away. But, in a tank I love them. Consistent hits with lots of flavor. I have a Protank and almost never use it. Too little flavor in comparison. There's a bit of a learning curve to carto tanks, but it's not bad and well worth the effort. Look up Baditude's blogs, he goes over all you'll need to know.

I only have tanks from IBTanked. They come with a Thingy (the container the tank ships in) which I use to prime my fresh cartos. They call it, "Fiddling your Thingy." OCD (owns IBTanked with his family) started this thread about fiddling your thingy. IT's also a good place to go to ask questions about their product. I highly recommend their tanks.

I use mine out and about all the time. I carry a couple so I don't have to worry about refilling while I'm out. And, they are pocket friendly. I've yet to have one leak.

Agree with all the above. The Thingy makes prepping cartos quick and effortless, and their tank filling tool/drip tip makes refilling a snap. I've used CE4s, Evods, Vivi Nova and Smoktech DCT, but prefer the IBTanked to all of them. So much so that I just ordered two more of them, bringing my total up to 5 of their tanks. As AmishEd said, they don't leak, hold plenty of juice (depending on which size you buy) and are very sturdy.

I like Smoktech (a.k.a. Smok) the best.

There are many different ways to fill cartos (I'm always experimenting), but I have a blog about one way to fill them, if you are interested:

The Ocelot Method of Carto Filling (aka The Upside-Down Condom)
