Wattage Question

Pardon my ignorance, but im lookin ovr the power chart for ohms law for x voltage across x resistance to get x wattage. and most of the "good" area's are between like 6-8 watts or whatever but a lot of vw mods go up to 15 etc. my question is why do u want to go that high and how does it affect the vapor. thx in advance!

exploring all of this has been a real kick, just took apart my head on my protank coil n did my first dryburn, pretty cool looking n easy, im diggin the vape scene!

It really depends on your juice and your delivery device, it changes the flavor and vapor production. Best way I have found is to just experiment until you find what you like as everyone's tastes and preferences are different.

Total agreement. I've read some folks' recommendations for vaping at 8-9 watts of power, and I personally seem to like it at about 5-6. It's all about your preferences. Try new stuff...experiment...enjoy! Ohm's Law is a good starting place...once you understand the physics, your choices are easier to make.

ya i have a number of juices iv already keyed in a different voltage that they taste "best" at, n im using 2.2 ohm coil on a protank on a vv ego, according to the chart anything higher than 4.2v is in the red, im curious, will it damage my coil if i do go higher?

If your coil stays wet it won't do any damage. If it doesn't you will stop vaping unless you really like that burnt taste. However batteries have a limit on how many amps they discharge. An ego such as the twist won't allow you to vape past the safe limit for the battery. However it is better not to push your luck and hope that it keeps on working.
