Hey fellow vapers....I drip a lot. But it is not convenient as you know...particularly on the road. I don't do it while driving. So I ordered me a couple Kanger clearos. My first clearos and I'm excited as hell:). Should get them tomorrow. Like a little kid, I will be looking out my window for for the mailman. I'm almost too embarrassed to admit that:oops:. Anyhow, can you experienced clearo users give me a preview on what I can expect? Flavor/vape/throat hit levels, wicking issues (long and short wicks), clogging issues, cleaning issues, etc... I appreciate your insight. Thanks Ed

I just picked up a kanger clearo and been vaping on it for a few days. Have to say I love it. Flavour is superb, th is great and as long as you tip to keep the wicks wet no dry hits. Very impressed so far. Easy to fill and clean. Had an issue with the mouthpiece but I ordered a few spares as I kinda knew there were problems with them. Apart from that they are great.

I have heard those Kanger T2 tips crack easily. They had new and improved replacement tips right next to the T2 picture when I ordered but I zoned out and forgot to get them. Oh well, next order. Thanks for your review. It's promising.

depending on your vape pace they will all have some degree of wicking issues.
it just depends if your pace is faster than it wicks and you notice these issues.
good luck!

Iamtumus, thanks. I burn a lot of Johnson Creek Red Oak (100% VG) and am expecting some wicking issues. I'm going to experiment by trying to thin it out with a little distilled water if necessary. Don't know if you have experimented with thinning.

If you like dripping and wish it to be more convenient, you might want to check into a bottom feeder mod rather than a clearo. There is a guy here on the ECF that makes the Old Goat bottom feeder for $25 if you want to try out bottom feeders to see if they are right for you. For myself I skipped the testing to see if I would like them and jumped right into the deep end of the pool so to speak and bought a ReoGrand; after trying out other clearos and cartos as well as the ego t and c systems I couldn't bring myself to go back to any of them after direct dripping. The bottom feeder gives me the same experience as direct dripping with all the convenience of not having to actually drip into the atty and with the conveniece of the 6ml bottle it is like having a tank only better.

Hey GW! When you unscrew the tip of the T2 the head tends to unscrew a bit as well, just make sure you tighten the head back down before you put the tip back on. Otherwise you may get a little leaking, or it may not fire at all. That's the only issue (albeit minor) I've had. The vendor sent me extra tips at no charge because of the cracking issue but I never needed them.

nothing compares to a CE3

And I have read dozens of posts that claim that nothing compares to what they use. An example or two of why you think the CE3 is better would shed more light on your argument. Also, this isn't the question I asked but that's OK. I'm always interested in why people like different brands of clearos. That's how I determined to start with a Kanger. Thanks Ed

I use red oak in my t2 and I have no wicking issues as long as you tip it regularly when it's halfway empty or more

Eblyth00...thank you VERY much for your reply. I also burn a lot of Red Oak. This is very concerning to me as I enter the new age of clearomizers. In fact, I just got done this morning running a viscosity test on the Red Oak versus the Johnson Creek Original line...in other words, PG vs VG. There is no doubt that the VG is thicker than the PG. No doubt at all. I'd be glad to give you the particulars of my study if you want them. Your experience with the Red Oak is very encouraging to me. Do you have trouble with gumming up the head?

that's what i do.
i'm vaping 100% vg right now and in a clearo it just tastes like an empty tank.
i put 20 drops of water in about 20ml and OMG AMAZING

Iam...I'm starting similar experiments with my Red Oak 100% VG by adding distilled water. I'm concerned that it will degrade the flavor, vape, and throat hit. But you're suggesting it doesn't hurt it. Great news! Why don't these juice-makers just add the water to their recipes?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was eyeing the Kanger bottom feeder. I will add that to my list of clearos to try out. Your argument makes sense to me. Thank you.

You know njay, I have read many reviews on the Kanger T2 and you hear about the "leaking" now and again. People fire back telling them to snug up that head whenever you take the tip off...exactly as you say. Thanks for the reminder njay and also thank you for being the first one to recommend the T2 to me several days back. I can't freaking wait! I bought mine from Carolina Vapes and saw they had new and improved tips available for pennies. The order box was next to the T2 box but like an idiot, I forgot to order them. Oh well. next time.

I've used the CE3's for over 4 months and they are my fav clearo to date.
I do have some Kanger T2's arriving in a day or two to try also.
There is a clearomizer section with lots of good info....link.

Everyones experience is different with clearos. Until they make a clearo that has adjustable juice and air flow to adapt to the different juice thicknesses and vaping paces. It seems either they work for you out of the box or you need to tweak them to meet each individuals needs.
As each clearo can be tweaked differently, it depends on what tweaking you are willing to do or rather what changes in you juice thicknes/vape pace you are willing to make.
For me the minor tweaks of the CE3 are able to meet my vaping needs while providing the best flavor.

A bottom coil and a bottom feeder are not the same thing. The bottom feeder mod is the device that powers the atty, where a bottom coil is that the heating element is at the bottom.
