Hi Guys,
Been trying out different delivery methods over the past month or so and was really looking forward to using the XL fluxos from Gotvapes, when they came in stock I ordered a couple of packs and got started. Love the vapor, flavor and convenience however I am having a problem with getting juice in my mouth or on my lips.... I have tried everything I can think of, a drip tip, the little rubber pointed tips, flat rubber tips, removing the little rubber washer etc and it still happens. It doesn't happen all the time but more often than not and I haven't seen anyone else reporting the same problem... I have a number in circulation with different juices and they all do it, so ruled out it just being a defective one... really disappointed because I love everything else about them :(

Hoping someone else has had the same experience and found a cure.

Thanks again for all your help.

At least you arre getting good flavor. None of mine are wicking, even with all the seals taken out. I hope you find your answer. I think what is happening to you, is too much juice is wicking, or leaking into the ceramic cup. Try keeping it upright, except when tilting it to help it to wick. I have read a lot of mods on this forum, and have tried them all.

I'm using the 2.6 - 2.8 ohms on a Riva and flavor and vapor are good, have just switched the little rubber seal with one from a old clearo I had, which is larger, and it seems to be helping.... the ones that come in the XL's come out very easily, whereas my old clearos were really tight. Fingers crossed. My juices are pretty thin though... not much VG in them, I prefer around 80/20..

I just got mine too. First fill was almost perfect, wicking and vapor was excellent, I don't mind a little bit of juice in my mouth once in awhile. 2nd tank full, I'm having alot of problems with wicking and getting frustrated with these things. Oh well, I can at least say I tried them! Was hoping they'd be better than the Tank.
Can't think of a cure for this for you, sorry.

I'm loving mine so far! What I have been doing to minimize the 'juice in mouth' is that after each refill, if there is any juice that has pooled up above the fitted plastic stopper or into the ceramic cup, I simply take my syringe with the plastic catheter tip and suck it back up into the syringe. Next I take a piece of tissue/paper towel, twist a corner of it and stick into the end of the clearomizer to absorb any stray juice or condensation. I've also been rinsing the pointed rubber tip between fills and shaking/rubbing it dry before replacing it onto the end. It's made a big difference. Also, a quick visual of the tip every so often before putting into my mouth for a draw has saved me a few times. If I see any wetness on it, I just wipe if off with a tissue or paper towel.

the ONLY time I get juice in my mouth with these is when I fill them up silly and get liquid inside the ceramic cup, then the cup heats up, and thins my liquid and lets it shoot straight into my mouth and hits the back of my throat and causes swelling (because of an autoimmune condition I have, not because of anything henky in the liquid or carto). i use 40% pg and 60% vg and since it's thick it sometimes doesn't roll down well but I just don't let my juice get really cold. I have no problems with leaking and mine wick perfect after removing all seals. I use a drip tip (with the rubber removed to avoid cracking) and I love these things. The thing we all have to remember is each one of us has different ways of vaping so a product that works for one doesn't work for all. For instance, premium cartomizers from v4l would last me 1-2 weeks each (making them cheap) but the cool carts that they are replacing premiums with only last me a couple of days and then taste burnt. Yet others love the cool carts. We all draw different and allow our cartos to heat differently. So if a product doesn't work well for you does not make it crap, just means its not for you. My first fluxo I threw away in a day because I thought I broke it. My next one lasted almost 10 days until the vapor dropped off too much because of coil build up. I'm saving my tubes off the ones I throw because I haven't broken one yet but wanted to have a stash in case I do (salvaging free parts off a flux I'm throwing away seems like a good idea).

My suggestion to the OP is to use a longer mouthpiece (try a drip tip), be careful not to get liquid directly into the ceramic cup, and try maybe thickening your liquid.

I feel that juices that are thicker actually seem to wick better with these fluxomizers, but once again, ymmv.

one can only wonder how they can come out with products like this. since this leaking/cracking happens to 90% of the users, it certanly must have happened to them too when they tried them...yet they sell and promote them as the latest and greatest.

I do agree that the plastic in the sleeves of the clearos should be reconsidered. Maybe they are locked into a contract or something and have no choice.

BUT

At least they don't sound like Tesla coils in a Steam Punk Sci Fi adventure when I fire one up! I can use them on pretty much any stock battery I want from minis to fancy mods.

I can get them in metal instead of clear to avoid the bad sleeve issue.
The coils and wicks are very good performers.
I like the way they vape enough to tolerate either modding clearos or not being able to see through a metal one.

Sometimes I do get a bad one in pack...but I can say the same for every carto I've ever tried. I've gotten some dud attys as well before.

I do want them to get it right...but I'd also be sad if they quit selling a package with the CE2 engine.
