Hi Everyone newbie who has been reading on here for almost a year now.

My journey has taken me to using what I believe are CE4 clearomizers from various companies. Yeah I know the issues with cracking as I have a bunch sitting right her next to me. BUT I like vaping with these things. Its so easy to see how much is left and the vap is the best I have had to date.

So my question is has anyone had any success repairing the cracks with any type of glue? These that I have are all just small cracks around the bottom ring and I hate to just throw them out.

Any Ideas or good outcome stories?

Thing is glues are in many ways very toxic and they consist of so many compounds that I just wouldn't risk it , you just can't tell what juice will react with what glue . Trust me one this ;) , bin them and get some new one or try cartos and a tank made of glass or stainless steel .
Anyways good luck :)

Somewhere out there
I also like the CE4's except they all crack! I use a thin piece of duct tape to repair for a temp fix. I am going to try using the polypro ego sleeve and see if I can actually make a polypro CE4. I got the ego cone shaped Smokteck filler filled carto and I think the polypro sleeve just might work. Once it is played out I will try it :) I have no idea why they make anything with polycarbonite, they do not work with ejuices, waste of time, they all need to be polypropylene as it does not crack. bnrk

Do any of you know a place to get a glass tank/clearo that fits on 808 battery's? Heck Id go with metal even. I just dont want to go back to dripping in cartomizers it took way to long to fill them.

Vapor4Life has a a 3.5ml 1.5ohm tank that I just received and it works fine for me. Other people have said it only works well with the Vapor Titan batt (4v), which I already had. I have used it with the Regular VK batts (3.7v). It works but not as much vapor production as the Titan. Good Luck

I am currently using what my supplier calls his a "vGo 1000 mAh battery" The clearos I bought from them are listed as "2.6 oHm resistance" voltage is listed as4.2-4.5V
They are 808 threads. They no longer sell the clearos because of all the warranty claims (they gave a 90 day warranty). But like i said im hooked on this style and need to find another alternative to his.

Will the tanks you listed work with these batterys?

Yes you can repair the cracks, I have a bunch of them. The product you want is "Ambroid Pro Weld", it is a plastic solvent .. not a glue. Once the solvent evaporates you are good to go.
However the real solution is to get a rebuildable CE4+ (stardust - vision eGo) The bottom of the tube is inside the metal instead of outside.
This is where I get mine
ElectronicStix.Com : VISION eGo TRANSPARANT CLEAROMIZER 2.5-2.9 OHM - VISIONCLEARO

Thanks TJ99959, thats good to know. Are they pretty good about shipping quick? They wont crack? My wife is the one who has the worse luck with cracking with all her cinnamon flavors she likes.

Guess im going to be forced into going to the adapter route. Wish I would have started with 510 threads but who knows when you start out.

I also really liked the convenience of clearomizers, but did not like the "plastic leaching" taste they seemed to add to my juice from the polycarbonate tubes.

Last week, I got some Vivi Nova polypropylene tanks and LOVE them. My nic juice tastes as close to direct dripping as anything else that I've used before (cartos, clearos, etc.) The VNs have a little bit more airy draw than I would like, but I am easily adjusting.

I ordered mine from GotVapes, but they are evidently less expensive at Clouds Of Vapor.

A friend crazy-glues his clearos like crazy, but I worry about the toxicity of the crazy glue. Gorilla Glue makes one specifically for plastic, if you decide to go this route. I think the best thing to do is to stay away specifically from polycarbonate clearos. Polycarbonate not only leaches BPA into your liquid, but also isn't very chemical resistant or food grade. Some companies sell CE4+ now, made out of a polypropylene polymer (I think), which should be more chemical resistant. Stay away from florals though (like honeysuckle and cherry blossom). I've heard that some people are still having problems with those, even with the newer plastic.

Of course, Pyrex would solve all these problems, but are there Pyrex clearos out there with replaceable heads (not tanks, where you have to insert a poly-fill carto)?
