Clearomiser modding?

Has anyone don a high res mod of the clearomisers yet? I have been dabbling in atomiser modding for a few days and began to wonder Y I haven't seen any Clearomisers over the 3.2 Ohm level.
I have a few dead clearomisers and relatively good (not a pc board or clean room tech mind you but good) soldering skills I figured I would try my hand at resurrecting mine and possibly setting them up as high res.
I am currently figuring out What I have that approximates a tank that I can seal up so no leaks while I am testing coils in one.

I don't know if anyone has or not, I personally plan on trying to figure out how to make a Lite-O-Mizer, with a blue LED it would look fantastic sitting on top of a Blue Lightning Tube Mod. maybe make the lite-o-mizer tube a little wider as well.

i took a clearomizer that the wick had gone bad in and wound a larger diameter coil to fit 2 1/4" of nicrome (27 ohms/foot) into the cup. I used the inside strands of a tiki torch wick (have used in about a dozen clearomizers works better than the stock wick, no taste doesn't burn or plug up like the stock ones do), wound up at 5 ohms and am using it at 7.5 volts. Have been using it for a week constantly, it is working great.
