I just had a new batch of clearomizers arrive - some iclear 16s (my usual type) and some Kangertech T3s. I'm happy with the iclears, but they all start leaking pretty quickly, and that's why I'm giving the T3s a try.

The T3s are giving me great flavour, and I don't mind that they are not a warm vape like the iclears, but less than 24 hours later, they're leaking too, and I'm starting to wonder if it's me.

I'm using them on an innokin itaste VV, an Innokin MVP and an Ego-C. I use a menthol ejuice. I've pulled it apart and cleaned the screw bits and it's fine for a few puffs, but then starts leaking. It seems quite gurgly too. Should I chuck it and try another or am I doing something wrong? Advice would be greatly appreciated (and if it belongs in the bin, I'd love some advice on a good clearo to try next time). Thanks a million!

Most leaks from bottom coil clearos happen at the flavour wicks.

Too little flavour wick to seal the gap-it leaks
Too much flavour wicks-dry hits.
Sucking too hard-flavor wicks get moved out of position- it leaks.

Personally, I prefer to use either 2mm ekowool or butchers twine for the flavour wicks. It doesn't get "sucked" out of position and it wicks well. You will have to find your own balance on how much flavour wicks to use to suit your draw style and voltage/wattage you vape at. Bear in mind that different pg/VG ratios MAY require different amount of flavour wick to prevent leaks.

Some have found that cotton as flavour wicks works for them. Never did work out for me. Hence I use cotton for the main wick and ekowool/butchers twine for flavour wicks.
