How long does a clearomizer lasts on daily usage of two refills a day? Mine lasts barely a month. is this normal? after cleaning it will be working great but after a day, the vapour decreases significantly. is this normal?
What's "normal" depends on a lot of factors. What wattage you're vaping at, what ratio of pg/vg/, even what flavorings (dark, light etc.) and the list goes on and on. I'm beginning to think of vaping as an art rather than a science when it comes to things like that with a lot of variables. It can also be kept simple by using simple products such as 808s with standard cartos and juice. Using CE3s with some juices I have to clean it every day. I've got some T2s that have been running for a month with only one or two cleanings. Some vapers using filler cartos get two weeks to a month while some only get a day or two. Daily cleaning isn't uncommon at all with some clearos.
daily cleaning is safe? I heard from somewhere that it might damage the coils. my ratio of pg/vg is 80/20. now switching to 60/40 cos it has much more vapor. flavourings wise i use mostly menthol and redbull. i avoid chocolate as it really stings my throat after a while. i'm using the battery that was voltage control( the one with 5 clicks) and i always set it to max.
They're considered consumable items. As they age they're going to get less productive no matter how well you take care of them. Some are going to last longer than others depending on everything from brand to voltage/ohms you're using them at. I understand wanting to get as long a life as possible but why tradeoff enjoyment for longevity? Daily dry burning will decrease their lifespan a lot but rinsing between fills not so much. At least that's been my experience. You can post your question in the "Ask the Vets" section of the forum and get more answers to your question. Maybe someone else will have a different experience to share. I see you're in Singapore where they may not be as available as they are here so I can understand your wanting to get the most out of them. Good luck and happy vaping.
I'm back to atties and dripping. I use clearos while driving. Also use tanks (kinda a big carto). Still... dripping works the best, so I've gone back to it even with the tanks and cartos. They are just too...variable. Variable build quality, variable in wicking, variable in coil lifetime.
So...1) Lifetime varies. 2) Like Wuzznt Me said...they are disposable. 3) Quality/performance varies a lot too.
i alternate between cartos and clearos too but i'm leaning a bit more to clearos. as u said, individual preference. it is tough to get spare parts here in singapore. i wish they sell them in stores. but the good news is that thanks to vaping, i have completely stopped smoking even the smell of smoke irritates me now! i still dont get how a battery can explode. maybe it is a they say, it is the tobacco way of bad publicizing the e cigarettes. Vape on!
I am going to be ordering the Mini Viva Novas next week, but I still like my attys and regular cartridges,
they seem to last and last. Have had no issues with either.
The cartomizers on my Blu's do very well, I refill them and keep using them, only tossed one so far - after
a bit over a month of use.
The Visions last me about 3 weeks then I'll change the wick and the coil lasts longer before I change that. Just trying some of the rebuildables so can't say on them yet.
i do realize that using clearos use up much more juice than using cartos. i have both anyway so i can alternate. my cartos run out faster than my clearos tho. my clearos can last up to a month but my cartos dies 2 weeks at most. one even died after a few vapes! maybe it was manufacturer defects i guess.
I clean my clearos after about 2 refills. I also dry-burn them about once a week to try and get all the crude off; however, you do have to be careful if you dry burn them. I would think that your getting a month out of them is probably pretty good. If you are not into rewicking/recoiling them, the heads are not too expensive.

Sorry but I guess my coffee hadn't kicked in when I typed that. I'm glad you replied so I could correct it to T2. They're what I use now on my Egos. They work every bit as well as a Vivi Nova or the mini Vivi and the heads change the same way, just cost a lot less and the form fits the Ego a lot better. 2.4ml with short wick but I haven't had a dry hit yet just from normal vaping. I use the Vivi on my Vmax or box mods but for the Egos T2 for the win. I buy mine here but I'm sure other vendors carry them. Electronic Cigarette Clearomizers
I've been useing the Kanger T2 for about 2 weeks now and like it. Its less prone to put a drop of liquid on the battery like the Vision V2, though i still like the V2 also. Kanger is coming out with a bottom coil T3, though i haven't seen it sold yet.
