Hey folks, I've recently switched to clearos, and I feel like my eliquid lasted longer with cartos? I tried looking it up, but I found nothing on the subject.
So do clearos consume more juice?
I use both single and dual coils and find the dual coil clearos, i.e., the Iclear16, consumes juice twice as fast, even though I get twice the vapor. It's a tradeoff IMO.
If it's a top coil clearo with 4 long wicks like an iClear then it will use more juice... sort of. Those long wicks hold a fair amount of juice and when you reach the bottom of the tank there is still a lot of juice in the wicks that you can't vape. If you keep filling with the same juice it won't be noticeable on the 2nd and subsequent tanks since the wicks are already saturated, but if you wash out and change flavors like I do all the time you will lose that juice.
Seems like a very logical explanation indeed!
I had a problem with a clearo (which had two wicks, so two parts on every side), so they gave me another one with just one wick. I don't really see a difference to be honest.
What is the difference anyway between one and more wicks? More vapor?
Any pros and cons with one and several wicks?

Feeding a top coil, or dual top coils can be a challenge to keep the juice flowing to the coils. With multiple wicks it can keep up with heavy vaping. With not enough wick (or wrong wicking material) you will have to vape slower or you will get dry/burnt vapes. It really helps to tip the tank while vaping to make sure it's getting enough juice.
