ok, so its been a while since ive been on here and i recently stumbled upon those clearomizers, problem is i cant find too much information on them. they look like they'd be a good buy but i need to know some more..
so.

1.) some have the pre-burnt wick, would that help prevent the dry burns from low liquid levels?
2.) are they all cartomizers (meaning are they more than 1 use only)
3.) the wick looks different compared to standard atomizers (is the beneficial)
4.) difference between voltage and Ohms on them ( i have a 510 innovapor so i would assume that all 510 are interchangeable between brands..... I think -:), but i would need the correct voltage for my battery.)

thank you any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Welcome back. There are quite a few threads on these, all you have to do is type 'clearomizer' or 'ce2' into the search bar and you'll be reading for months...lol

To answer your questions:

1) The pre burnt wick is suppose to eliminate the need to clean/dry burn the cartos to remove factory fluids, etc. I haven't tried the newest ones to confirm that but I like to clean them anyway for peace of mind.

2) They are sold as disposables but the coil is robust and can withstand multiple dry burns.

3) The wicks work via capillary action. When they are half way (or more) empty, you often have to twirl or tilt the juice to the wicks to replenish them.

4) The lower the ohm rating the hotter they'll burn. Everyone likes different vapor. If the batt is 3.7v I'd go w/ no lower than 2.8ohms myself. The coil on these is on the top so they run quite a bit hotter. You can use a drip tip to cool the vapor.

The earlier clear tubes were brittle and cracked w/ certain juices (cinnamon, fruit juices containing malic acids). Many of us mod these in every way possible. The best I've found is using a BD 3ml syringe; the tube is much thicker. The newest ones are suppose to have thicker tubes, etc. They just getting out there but I'm sure they're discussing them in the GotVapes sub forum.

These also come in metal/steel tubes. I tried to answer your questions and not give too much other info. There's a heap of it. In short, these have gone through a ton of revisions and if you're not the tweaking type, they'll probably will make you ill ;)

Good info, but I have to say that although I LOVE the CE2s because of the flavor and vapor, they ALL crack, no matter how gentle you are with them. GotVapes definitely has the better ones (I can't remember where I got my last batch from but they're very brittle). Once you've taken the tube off to clean them, from then on it's never quite secure and will leak or seep constantly. I put up with this because I love the flavor and the ability to know exactly when I need to refill, instead of always guessing with carts. That being said, I've heard good things about the dual coil clear carts and may give those a try and also can't wait to try GotVapes' Vortex.

The newest revision 5 clearomizers are quite an improvement over the older ones. There are still some issues with cracking, not as many. The new gasket eliminates the problem with liquid leaking out on the mouthpiece end.

They are reusable, but I recommend cleaning them between refills, or at least every other refill.

+1 to what gel drops said, mine are 2.4-2.6 from madvapes as well, though the next time I order, I'll probably get a higher resistance.

The wicking system in the clearomizers is superior to cartos, IMO, because the capillary action in the wick isn't fighting against the capillary action of fiber fill to stay wet. However, you do have to tilt and twirl them if you are hitting them repeatedly, and sometimes you need to give them a break to give the coil a chance to get wet. The vapor and flavor is nearly comparable to dripping, as long as you don't fill them over and over without cleaning. The XLs are attractive because they hold so much, but I'd recommend the regular ones, less likely to crack, refill more often for a fresher taste.

If you order any, make sure you get the ones with two large wicks and a black mouthpiece, those are the new revision. Ones with a white mouthpiece and 4 or 6 smaller wicks are the previous revision(s) and don't have the extra gasket and have a thinner, more fragile tube.

I personally Love Clearomizers! I did not like cartomizers always having to refill or top off. With clearomizers do not have this problem I buy mine from Madvapes xl 510 clearomizers , at this time have had no problems with cracking or leaking Love them would not use anything else and they last all day do not have to bring any juice or anything else just a spare battery just in case. I think that they are a great product would highly recommend.. :)
