If you've detached it before this time, and used that method then maybe you have done something to your 510 pin connection, it may be bent from the fall or something. If this is your first time trying to detach the tank, period, then yes, make sure you aren't just turning the tank around, although the symptoms you are describing sort of sound like your 510 pin got stripped somehow.

How old is it? Also, if it sat for a while, with liquid leaking down in the battery part, I'm not entirely certain you may have somehow "gunked" up the 510 connection, but generally you want to get to that stuff out of there.

It still works though, that might lead me to think your technique is faulty as far as unscrewing it. It's the center pin of the tank that you want to get moving, so yes, I guess make sure you aren't just spinning the tank's glass or whatever.

Although honestly, this whole situation is somewhat confusing. How'd you knock it over, how bad was the fall, and if there is liquid leaking down, it's very possible that your tank glass is cracked or broken.

This is one of those times where I'm going to suggest returning to where you go it (if it was a vape shop) and ask them to help you with it. I'd say watch a video but it doesn't really suit the situation, so much, since I doubt you'll find something really helpful. Returning to the store with your purchase (and I would probably be up front about dropping it and etc., because they need to know to watch out for possible broken glass and etc. I guess. Etc.

Isn't the CE4 an eGo type connection?

OP; this may sound completely backwards, but have you tried twisting it with a tea towel or shirt? Sometimes a bit of liquid can lube it up and make it a nightmare to undo.

Yes, but it also has 510 threading, which is why I suspected that they are twisting by the tank. Basically, if it got bent then the 510 threads would be leaning one way, while the ego threads would be pulling it the other. Since both threads are part of a solid base even if one were stripped, the other would be able to spin it's way out I would think.

I thought they were eGo, too. But, nonetheless, it should unscrew unless the threads are stripped.

The eGo is a lighter duty vaporizer, less expensive, though. I can see that it appeals to some. But, there are quite a few smaller 18350 (even 18650) battery mods that will take a 510 connection tank on top.

Really, just depends on wants and needs.

My bad, I was wrong. The ce4 didn't have the ego threading. It was the ce5 that had both. The 4 is 510 threaded with the ego flange being untreated.

Where the heck did you find this dinosaur? These are the disposable ones. I had assumed when the replaceable coil version came out in like 2013 or whenever these were all relegated to the trash bin.

TBH, I would just break the tank and use pliers to wrench the thing off of the battery since it's disposable anyway. Plop down another $1 on a new one.

I like your choice of vape equipment, good way to start.
If you don't have the strength or knowledge :
RE:
OR could contact:
local B&M Vape Shop (Visit) -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or advise.
