Hi

What is the best clearomizer around? advances in technology should surely have created an elite clearomizer?

Gary

I think clearomiser technology has been improving solidly for 3 years now. The problems with them are 1) leaks or gurgles 2) bad taste.
I have not had either of these for 4 months now.... thanks to Aspire mini Nautilus.
So, my vote is that the elite clearomiser is already here... and it's not made by Kanger. :)

Do you use the BVC coils? I have a few Nautilus minis that come with the BVC coils and I'm very happy.

Good point. The Nautilus (the big one) mostly comes with BDC coils and they are less reliable. Some people say they are useless, but I got 12 hours happy vaping from one, once.

Ive stuck with i clear 16s for the last 8 or so months, dual coil clearo, super cheap and makes great plumes and good flavor...I have a kanger subtank on the way though, alot more volume and it can be used as an RBA if you so choose and the reviews are all great. I cant speak from experience on it yet.

Exactly this. Switching to the BVC heads improves the Nautilus from zero to hero.

If you're looking for the latest and greatest, Aspire have the Atlantis and Kanger have the sub tank out right now. Both are sub ohm clearos (with the Kanger having an extra piece that changes it to an RTA) designed to be run at 20-35 watts.

There are a lot of reviews out there on youtube for both of them. From everything I have read and seen, they have both been very well received. If you do decide to go this route, just remember that you'll need a mod or a mech that is capable of firing a 0.5ohm coil and putting out around 30 watts.

Review below is for the subtank, but he compares it side-by-side with the Atlantis. He also has a separate review on his channel for the Atlantis.

The two new clearos out are the aspire atlantis and the kanger subtank.

Another one worth looking at is the new Big Dripper.

There has never been a good clearomizer, there will never be a good clearomizer. No matter how many times they reinvent that wheel ... it will still be a clearomizer.

The only reason they keep trying is to suck the cash out of your wallet!

In post#11, the atlantis would be a clearomizer;
Question: what about the other 2? are they clearomizers according to your definition? the subtank and the glass bigd?

I don't think he's saying those aren't clearomizers, I think he's saying they aren't good clearomizers. Sounds to me like we've got an RBA/RDA fan in our midst.
