Clearos that take drip tips?

So apparently I have Hulk hands... I have destroyed almost a dozen clearos (Stardusts and stardust/CE5 knockoffs) in the last 4 weeks by over-tightening the stock drip tip/mouthpiece on them (2 today alone!).

Took me a while to figure it out, but looks like I tighten them down so hard that the threads on the tip get stuck in the threads on the clearo body and when I go to fill and try to unscrew it the tip the black plastic tip comes off... and its metal thread ring and O-ring don't.

So I'm looking for clearos that take drip tips (while waiting for my pro-tanks and wishing I'd ordered more of them!). I have a single 3.5ml viva nova that I'm loving but I'm also wondering if there are other options out there?

Please don't say "carto tanks". I have an obscenely expensive carto tank that I bought because it was pretty, but, honestly, I hate it. Worked great when the seller set it up for me, has whistled and hissed horribly since I refilled it. The flavor of one of my fave juices is muted with it and I'm getting a weird tingle/numb spot on my tongue from it. Will go by the store this weekend to see what I'm doing wrong, but doubt I'll give carto tanks another shot any time soon.

An econo-option :2c: would be nice, too, since I like to change flavors all day -- I have 9 clearos lined up for swapping out right now, and a bunch more flavors not in use cuz I ran out of clearos...

Help a Hulk out? ;-)

Do they make noise when you pound your fists, too? ;)

As far as an econo option, maybe Kanger T4s? Top coil, they hold about 1ml, the tip is a pull-off/push-on type, no threads. I've had no leaks with mine, even in pockets. Use them for trying new flavors (who can devote an entire T2 or Protank to an unproven juice?!) myself.

Haven't tried my drip tips on them, but the tips from the T4 do fit my 510 atomizer, phoenix clone rba and AGA T2 fine, so I imagine the reverse holds true.

Bauway makes a CE4 variety that uses regular driptips.

Bauway Low Resistance CE4 Clearomizer
Good luck!

Oooh... Pretty. Isn't low resistance a warmer vape, though? I tried the low res (1.8 ohm) head on my vivi and my ego battery did NOT like it. Vaped okay for about 1/2 an hour then crapped out on me. Swapped for the 2.5 ohm head and it's worked like a champ since.

Wow! Super prices. Will have to look up the vendor rep before ordering though - prices too good to be true always make me a little leery when online shopping.

I can't believe nobody has recommended the Evod. It has the same type of bottom coil as the Protank, but it's smaller and way cheaper. It doesn't have a drip tip, but fills from the bottom so Hulk hands won't break the mouthpiece.

I was thinking the same thing about it being hulk proof, but since the protank was already mentioned, the drip-tippin' metal protank seemed applicable:vapor:

Just don't torque on them so much. Think about it, an old auto mechanic could break every hand he shakes if he wanted to, but he doesn't. Do you routinely injure children and kill small animals on accident as well?

GAWD

Not normally, but I am the resident bottle and jar opener in our family. And have been known to tighten the lids on 2-liter sodas to the point we've had to cut the top of the bottle off to get the liquid out...

Sounds like you are the perfect candidate for this:
Tatroe Tank 3.2ML Grooved

I'm pretty sure that Hulk proof is an unofficial selling point. Plus, it's like ordering a way more beast protank that you wish you ordered already!

Oh WOW. WANT. Just wish it had a window. I'm terrified I'll be out and about and my PV will run empty.

Shiny. But still uses coils & wicks, yes? The link calls it a cartomizer...

Vape Only BCC clearomizers accept 510 drip tips.....those and the Vivi Novas are all I know that are worth a dam that do.

BCC... First I've heard of those was today. Will have to check them out.

Thanks so much for all the excellent tips!

technically, clearos are cartomizers since they combine a cartridge with an atomizer. Only difference is clearos don't have filler and are easier to fill and gauge your remaining fluid. The eVod has a pretty good rep, as does the T3 (which will be using the same style replaceable heads the eVod and protank do soon) and both are bottom-fill, and yes, they use wicks and coils instead of filler.

I hear you on that, I just feel like this tank is so large I wouldn't be too worried. I guess refilling around half if it's your all day vape would be a good idea. The few that have got theirs already are loving it from the sound of it. Jealous over here.
