Clogged ego carto

Er.. so I've been MIA for a while and not down with the new terminology. I thought we were talking about the itty bitty (relatively) 510 cartos here...

So, um. Yeah. The following applies to 510 cartos, not at all sure about the big 'uns Parallex2 posted an image of (and you're probably talking about). Sorry!

An unbent paper clip inserted into the battery thread of the carto *gently* can be used to re-align the carto guts so that air flows smoothly again. I usually hold the paper clip firmly and gently spin/twist the carto up the clip until the end of the clip is past nearly all of the filler.

You'll notice too that the paper clip comes out with lots of black dust and other gunk, which I read somewhere was deterioration of the filament as with a lightbulb and indicating carto aging towards "I heat up but don't produce vapor" death. Or it's just gunk.

Problem is, after unclogging it'll work for me for a while but then randomly get clogged again later after some hours of vaping :( I'm hoping the Edition 2 Revision 4 Cartos are the solution here.

I have a clogged ego carto can anybody help me get it un clogged? It's one of my only ones and I can't afford more

13 bucks for FIVE is out of reach?
