New e-cigarette user. Recently ordered the Lucky Slick starter pack with the Lucky Cowboy cartridges. Although, they aren't too bad, I am in the process of ordering a bottle of e-juice and wanted some advice.

I have been a Marlboro Medium (now called Marlboro Red Labels in the US) smoker for over 10 years. I wanted to know of any websites where I can order a flavor that resembles it the closest. You don't need to tell me it will never be exactly what I'm hoping for, but any advice from former Marlboro smokers would be appreciated!

Wow, you want a hard questioned answered...LOL. A well steeped bottle of Max/bro from freedomsmokeusa.com. By well steeped, I mean 3 months of sitting in a cool, dark closet. I bought a 60ml bottle in February and just recently tried it. I didn't like it at first (just out of the mailbox) but I'm stubborn and let everything sit for at least a month. Well 3 months later, there it was. The closest that I've found to a Red.

I'm sure you're going to get tons of opinions on this one but everyone tastes things differently. Good luck to you and welcome to ECF.

As you can imagine, nothing tastes like burning tobacco & paper. There are juices that mimic the taste of tobacco though. Most notably some of the flavors from www.want2vape.com. They use actual cigars & tobacco extracts from steeped tobacco to make their juices. Their Acid Blondie, Alcazar, Red Pirate, & Vapenstein Blends are some of the best tobacco vapes on the planet. Another company who makes great tobacco vapes is www.backwoodsbrew.com. Try their Maple Tobacco, Casablanca, Backo, or Adirondack.

Good luck in your search! :)

Ah, yes the Tampa from Vapor Station. I have used several bottles of that too. Might be a good one for you.

When they reopen, he mentioned he's going to offer different shipping options, not just the flat rate shipping which they now offer. That can be pretty pricey on a small bottle.

I like that all the ingredients are listed on the label. Also love the glass dropper bottles.

Been asked here many times before with many more answers so go to Google and do this search:

Copy this, paste into Google search box, then remove the x in front of http (I have to put that there to keep the forum software from turning it into a shortcut)

Taste is so subjective. This is just one vaper's take: Gourmet vapors has a mild tobacco flavor 'Red Marble' that doesn't have the unique undertones that many suppliers sell. Doesn't hurt that they're having a 50% off sale now :) Halo, Johnson Creek, FSUSA and other quality tobacco suppliers seem to each use a base that's too much for me taste wise in their tobacco lines. Many love them. I can close my eyes and identify the supplier in one vape. I catagorized Gourmet Vapor as a novelty juice company, great for Watermelon Jolly Rancher and flavors like that. I ordered a tiny sample of the Red Marble not expecting much. Went back for a big bottle. It tastes like tobacco and nothing else. I smoked Virginia Slims full flavor. When the price went over $8/pack switch to Marlboro Reds 100's for a few years. Good luck!

Well as an ex Marlboro smoker all the opinions you have read before mine are just opinions just like mine. :) I agree partially with AMG...nothing will be like a burning cigarette...nothing. Yes, you wil find all kinds of juices that will mimic tobacco (all that I ever use btw) but none will be like a Marlboro Red. Think back to your first cigartette and it doesn't matter if it was a Marlboro or something else...it wasn't the taste that made you say "ah this is my brand" if your honest with yourself it could have easily been a Camel or Kent. Marlboro is what you got use to and liked. It will happen to a tobacco juice the same way when you find one.

No offense, but Marlboro Mediums are like the worst of them all (and none taste good though Blend 27 is close). I really can taste chemicals and stuff in those. Well, whatever helps you not smoke any actual Mediums. Though it's a safe bet before long you'll be looking for/vaping something totally different.

It's not unusual to want something similiar when you start. I did and found one I enjoy. Still vaping it. No, it doesn't taste like a Newport but it gives me a hint of what I liked about newports. In fact it is much better! I do also vape different types of juices but it's difficult to explain what you liked about a particular cigarette but sometimes you hit on a juice that gives you a note of that flavor. Sometimes you don't and have to move in a different direction, but sometimes you find something you can live with.

When I first vaped my juice I thought "I can live with this" and grew to really like it. It wasn't disgusting, it didn't make me feel ill and it was mildly pleasant. Best of all I was getting a nicotine hit and didn't want to smoke! Now I really enjoy it.
