Yeah, you're not going to find anything that tastes like smoking a cigarette. That's because that cigarette taste is basically ash. That's not something that many people want, and I don't even know if it's really possible to mimic that flavor. BUT, there are A LOT of tobacco flavors that taste a lot like unburnt tobacco tastes/smells. I find some of them quite pleasant, some of them not so much. It's subjective.
The trick for me was finding a juice that felt like a cigarette on my throat, more than the taste. I found acidic fruity flavors really did the trick. They sting quite a bit more than the tobacco and more desert-oriented flavors. Of course, that was way back in the day with old school equipment. May not be so applicable today. Hardware now is much higher quality, and you can pretty much dial in what kind of throat hit you want with any juice (or nic level) with the variable voltage/wattage, and variable heat APVs. But if you're using a lower power device, keep my acidic fruit recommendation in mind.
Not to worry though, you'll get over your desire for the cigarette flavor, fairly quickly probably. And then you'll start to notice a preferred flavor profile. I never got over the acidic fruity vapes lol. My all day vapes are generally a monster energy drink dupe, or an sour orange flavor. Though I do like something with a more smoky flavor sometimes. Hazelnut can be nice. Sometimes coffee, but only very specific coffee flavors. Needs to taste roasty toasty, and real light on sweetness. You'll find out what you like.
Really, just pick up a bunch of sample sizes in radically different flavors. You'll find something you like. There's so many vendors for ejuice out there, and everyone had their go to vendor. If you don't have a local brick and mortar vape shop that will let you taste before you buy (which is the most ideal), I'm going to recommend ECBlends. That's generally my go to recommendation for new vapers for three reasons. One, they're really cheap. Two, their juice is decent. And three, they have 5ml trail sizes. Not top shelf obviously, but decent enough for you to try a bunch of cheap liquids, and see what kind of flavors you like. They also let you pick your PG/VG ratio. I recommend you start with a 50/50 mix. It's a good base point, and most vendors mix their juice to that ratio now anyway.
ECBlends does have a flavor called Dirty Ashtray. It's supposed to taste kind of like a real cigarette. I've never tried it though, so try at your own risk.
