Yeah, you're not going to find anything that tastes like smoking a cigarette. That's because that cigarette taste is basically ash. That's not something that many people want, and I don't even know if it's really possible to mimic that flavor. BUT, there are A LOT of tobacco flavors that taste a lot like unburnt tobacco tastes/smells. I find some of them quite pleasant, some of them not so much. It's subjective.

The trick for me was finding a juice that felt like a cigarette on my throat, more than the taste. I found acidic fruity flavors really did the trick. They sting quite a bit more than the tobacco and more desert-oriented flavors. Of course, that was way back in the day with old school equipment. May not be so applicable today. Hardware now is much higher quality, and you can pretty much dial in what kind of throat hit you want with any juice (or nic level) with the variable voltage/wattage, and variable heat APVs. But if you're using a lower power device, keep my acidic fruit recommendation in mind.

Not to worry though, you'll get over your desire for the cigarette flavor, fairly quickly probably. And then you'll start to notice a preferred flavor profile. I never got over the acidic fruity vapes lol. My all day vapes are generally a monster energy drink dupe, or an sour orange flavor. Though I do like something with a more smoky flavor sometimes. Hazelnut can be nice. Sometimes coffee, but only very specific coffee flavors. Needs to taste roasty toasty, and real light on sweetness. You'll find out what you like.

Really, just pick up a bunch of sample sizes in radically different flavors. You'll find something you like. There's so many vendors for ejuice out there, and everyone had their go to vendor. If you don't have a local brick and mortar vape shop that will let you taste before you buy (which is the most ideal), I'm going to recommend ECBlends. That's generally my go to recommendation for new vapers for three reasons. One, they're really cheap. Two, their juice is decent. And three, they have 5ml trail sizes. Not top shelf obviously, but decent enough for you to try a bunch of cheap liquids, and see what kind of flavors you like. They also let you pick your PG/VG ratio. I recommend you start with a 50/50 mix. It's a good base point, and most vendors mix their juice to that ratio now anyway.

ECBlends does have a flavor called Dirty Ashtray. It's supposed to taste kind of like a real cigarette. I've never tried it though, so try at your own risk.

You will not find anything to replace the reds. This question has probably been asked at least a thousand times here. Try looking for something like a vanilla tobacco or tobacco with some type of flavoring. It is very hard to replicate burning weeds and paper... with a bit of ammonia thrown in to keep you buying.

looking for a tobacco ( smoking flavor) replacement is going to drive you nuts... its like trying to find an orange that tastes like a pineapple... ;)

The "need juice that taste like a cigarette" has to be one of the all time most asked questions on every electronic cigarette forum lol.

Unfortunately there still isn't a juice that will mimic that . If you must have as close as it gets you should buy a sampler pack of "NET" juices , naturally extracted tobacco.

Second only to "what's the best starter setup?" which over the years has become an ever increasingly hard question to answer. When I first started there were only a handful of options that had more to do with minor design differences and brand names. Here's hoping it doesn't revert to that in the near future. :glare:

I smoked Marb Reds for 30+ years. Nothing tastes like that, and at this point, I wouldn't want it to. However, to me, a good RY4 is like a freshly opened pack of Marb Reds, only a little bit better! I still enjoy vaping it, the only tobacco flavor I still like.

As others said, taste is subjective and it's impossible to mimic the taste. The closest thing I've found was Heather's Heavenly vapes "Dark Horse". It's a NET juice, naturally extracted tobacco. I love a good tobacco flavor and this stuff knocked me on my ....! There's nothing "heavenly" about it, it's in your face!
I was like you when I first started out, I wanted the closest thing I could find and looked high and low trying to find it. Know what I ended up using the most, and loving it? A grape from Vapor 4 life! Yeah, made no sense to me either! I'm pretty much stuck with tobacco flavors now, I'm returning again after a bad injury and regular juices don't cut it for me, so I'm trying the NET juices and tobacco is about all you can get.
I also agree with the others, try something you like, french silk pie? A good vanilla custard? Stiff cup of capachino? Find some local vape shops, sample their juices, I bet something hits you and you will be like "Wow! That tastes good! I'd have never thought I'd like that so much!" It's been amazing to me to watch new vapors while they sample things, you'd never have thought they'd like this or that, but they do! Even me, I sample every time I hit a shop and find new things all the time!
Then one day you'll light up a cig and grab your vape while it's lit and it will click, then you are done smoking! Really, it's so much easier these days with local vape shops, used to be we'd have to order it, wait for it, and hope we liked it! Now you can sample it, buy it, and take it home to vape it right away! Enjoy the progress!

Heathers Heavenly used to be talked and raved about far more than it is now , same with Nicoticket . They both won a ton of ECF's best juice contests in the past .

I guess the explosion of other e juice companies have pushed them aside but both are still better than most imo.
