Cloud Chasing RDA/CCI Archon

Hi Guys,

I've been searching through reviews and looking to find a Cloud Chasing rda, doing a google search got really generic, but I watched Rip Trippers doing his stuff on cloud chasing and stumbled across the Archon by CCI - has anyone used it and how would they rate it?

Also - what rda's do you all use for cloud chasing (if at all)???

Sorry I should have mentioned:

1) Yes, the juice I use is a factor, so I am making some Max VG juice to try this out
2) Coils - REAALLY not sure what sort I should be going with, mostly I run Aliens 3.0mm
3) Mod - I'm hoping to try on my Tauren and see how I go.

Should have also mentioned - Archon V2 or V1? I was looking at the V1 as it's on special from Cloudy Collabs Inc but if the V2 is "better" then I'd prefer to get that.

Any RDA with big air should work. My opinion of cci is stay away. I'm not a cloud chaser but guys talk....I hear things.

There's a new one called The Warrior that should provide plenty of room for crazy builds and lots of airflow.

The CCI Archon is an old RDA. It's a 3 post RDA. You're not going to get alien coils in that. For cloud chasing look at the TM24 PRO, Goon 1.5 or the Apocalypse. A couple more you might look at is the Squid Industries Chief King or the Vapergate Gemini. Those are great for cloud chasing but will also give you good flavor. For cloud chasing you want something with alot of airflow. You're also going to want a bigger build deck for using bigger coils. 24-25mm is common now. If you really want to get crazy get a 30mm RDA.

Thanks for that - I'm looking at the TM24 now, and I like the post and deck design. This is probably going to sound REALLY naive but I have not yet seen the appeal of the Goon. The TM24 PRO is great for cloud chasing. The Goon 1.5 is super easy to build, you can get big coils in it and it has great airflow. I like my Goons but they are not my favorites.

For cloud chasing between the 3 I would say TM24 PRO, Apocalypse and Goon 1.5. The TM 24 PRO has the most airflow of the 3. I'm sure there are other RDAs out there but those are the ones I have that I think would fit what you're looking for.

I'm looking at the TM24 PRO now, there's a place with the Goon 1.5 on special but I'm liking some of the features that I saw on a review video (Vaping with Vic?). Usually I'm a fan of either the clamp design or the upright deck style similar to the Drop or the Dead Rabbit

Actually that's a question I can't seem to find the answer to - would the TM24 PRO (or even the Goon 1.5 for that matter) be hybrid safe? I'm going off the photos and I can't really tell how far the 510 is protruding or even if it's adjustable. From the sales pitch I can't tell from that either.

Certainly could be...all I know is a coil building team (why that's a thing, I'll never know) designed it. I've heard lots of air, lots of room and decent flavor. It's definitely not on my to do list.
