Let me preface my review by saying that Bobas is the only juice I've ordered more than twice, and I will continue to order it throughout my vaping career.. In my quest to find something as enjoyable, I've wasted a LOT of money and although I've found juices that get close to competing at that level, none have reached that spot in my heart... UNTIL NOW..

Cloud's of Vapor - "Black and Tan" 100 VG - 16mg

I just received this about 2 hours ago after hearing a few good reviews about it. I hang out on Vape TV and Bruce has a great show with good giveaways. He's been giving away this juice for a few weeks, sadly I didn't win, but happily paid for the juice. It costs 7.99 for a 12 ml bottle, a little higher than most juices however the quality and taste more than make up for it.

First, the smell.. I can't say it is the best smelling juice althought not terrible, so I almost felt like, wow.. This isn't going to be as great as I hoped, boy was I wrong. I proceeded to drip 3 drops on my 510 LR debridged atty at 1.8 olm. First hit, I felt a sense of joy. This is that full bodied cigar type vape I've been dreaming about since I started vaping. The flavor I can't seem to peg down.. I think the closest I could describe it to would be a Black N Vanilla cigar.. I defiantly taste a hint of vanilla with a dark tobacco. The throat hit is there, but not overbearing, in fact its perfect. Being that it's 100% VG, the vapor production is amazing of course.

Also today I received an Echo 1300 Mah with the echo 3ml cartos, I immediately filled one of the blanks with Black and Tan and vaped away hands free. At higher resistance, the flavor comes through even more.

I would love to describe this juice more to you, but what I can say is here is a list of tobacco juices that I LOVE, but right off the bat I don't love as much as Black and Tan.

AVE Bobas
AVE Gorilla Juice
AVE Havana Gold
Vaperite Hazelnut Tob
Vaperite VR4
Nitelife Bounty Hunter
BWB RY4
Halo Torque 56
Dekang RY4 and USA Mix
Primevaping Nostalgia

That list are the ones I LOVE.. This one goes right to the top, although it BARELY beats out Bobas.

Any tobacco fan owes it to themselves to try this juice!

(BTW, this is my first review)

Sounds great! I want to place an order from them. Any other flavors from Clouds of Vapor you can recommend? I'm thinking of definitely trying the Carmel Tobacco as well.
I would try the Butterscotch and the caramel cream. I don't think you can go wrong with any COV flavors.

I will have to give this juice a try. Like you I am a Boba's lover, so to speak. It was one of the first juices I tried when I started vaping and I have wasted tons of money on other juices trying to find ones I love as much as BB, to have a variety, just to go back to my first love, Boba's Bounty. I have ordered other vapers suggestions that this juice or that juice tasted like BB or just as good as BB to find out none has been able to come near to competing. Sounds like this juice may taste like a Black and Mild cigar, which I use to smoke from time to time as a luxury smoke. Thanks for the tip.

Got mine in the mail and love it! It really is like a black and mild cigar. I don't think it will be an everyday vape for me, but will definitely be in the rotation. I love the dark, premium taste.

On the other hand, their caramel tobacco is perfect for an everyday flavor. It has just the right mix of tobacco taste and sweet caramel. Its definitely not overly sweet by any means.

I have a bottle on the way. I have a suspicion that I think I know where this juice is made and am wondering if I'm going to get a different variant of a juice I already have. I don't want to stick my foot too far in my mouth so I'm not going to say who until after I get it. The suspense and waiting are half the fun.

Based on what you folks all posted in this review thread, I took the plunge and ordered a 30ml bottle of Black and Tan, my first-ever juice order from COV.

Yes, yes, yes. A wonderful tobacco blend. Am I right in assuming that some tobacco absolute is used in the base? B&T has that smokey, slightly ashy quality imparted by tobacco absolute---but done just right here (meaning not overdone), which is rare. From my first vape off a dual-coil carto, Black and Tan barged right into my daily rotation of juices.

Many thanks to all who posted for the heads up.

You guys are killin' me.

I made it Three Weeks without ordering any juice, but just broke down like a little girl and ordered some COV juice.
But I'm glad the ECF was here to steer me in the right direction when I had to do what had to be done. :)

Mrs. T will just have to wait another month.

A month ago, I was ordering juice almost every three days...feels good!

Black & Tan
Cherry Tobacco
Tobacco
Slim Mint

My first scent from the bottle I was thinking ohh yech...perfumey... well, I let it sit for a week and it still smelled that way. I thought what the hay, it might not vape perfumey. And it doesn't. Thinking back to my smoking life it tastes just like I remember Nat Sherman Havana Ovals tasting (yummy and sweet, but not too sweet).

OK, I get it that taste is subjective and that the bell curve of flavor appreciation (or lack thereof) is all over the map in every conceivable direction, but whenever I read an opinion that differs so much from my own (and from either direction---whether I like a juice that another poster loathes---as is the case here---or if I don't like a juice that someone else loves), I think to myself: "Are we vaping the same juice???"

I mean, with regard to COV Black and Tan, I can understand the alcohol comment to some extent, for I do pick up a slight liqueur tang from the juice, similar to cigars flavored by dipping in brandy or rum, and I certainly take no issue with the "unvapeable" comment, for that's a personal reaction, but "weak on flavor?" Whoa! All I can say is that doesn't describe the juice I've been vaping. Far from it. If anything, my bottle of Black and Tan is at the exact opposite end of the flavor saturation scale, with almost too much flavor intensity.

But, as they say, YMMV.

I ordered 3 juices from them, based on "good" reviews, all 3 were UBER weak on flavor (Cherry Tobacco, Black and Tan and Butterscotch).
Im very sensitive to flavors and 99% of juices I try I hate and cant even force myself to vape BUT whats worse for me is juices with weak flavor, I get a headache from constant looking and waiting for flavor, real headache.
Im also wasting ton of money because initially im always "WTF is happening here my attys is dead?"
And then I get a new atty, and try on another model, in cartomizer and it always the same result, I just dirty 3-4 different attys and carts.

These 3 had almost no flavor, im really serious, the black and tan and butterscotch made me feel a bit drunk (i quit drinking and taking other "stuff" 6-8 years ago and i dont drink at all so I can get drunk from alcohol fumes LOL)

I would add at least half more if not double the flavoring.

But its not important anymore they just suck...

BTW, I can correlate to your 'Are we vaping the same juice???'comment, becuase when i started vaping 3 months ago and till 2-3 weeks ago I was constantly using for all day vape, and was checking ll the review sites and youtube reviews and buying all the high rated juices, what I found is that 90% oft hem unvapable .... (sorry for harsh words)

I dont understand how some of these juices can be consumed by human beings, like the Black and Tan, Butterscotch from COV, most of natural/house extracted tobacco juices from vaperite, Intelisig ECOPure and hundreds others..

P.S. if you want to know what I vape and consider good:innovapor ULTRAPure Rich and Menthol, Halo Prime 15 (rest of their juices is just horrible) and PinkSpots pinkspot, G-Spot, Janes Wild Juices, Bikini Martini and almost every other juice they make is fine in my book BUT they all weak, not as weak as the CoV becuase i wouldn't vape them but I would increase the flavoring by at least 50% and then they will be perfect

VirusZ,

My intent wasn't to rain on your parade. I was just struck---again---by the vast divergence of people's likes and dislikes with vaping in general and juices in particular.

One of the great things about vaping is that there's only one person we need to please---ourselves.
