Cloudy menthol crystal dilution

I tried diluting menthol crystals in vodka as suggested in a thread found on these forums (fill bottle with crushed crystals, tap down, add more crystals to fill, slowly add vodka until crystals dissolve, cap and shake.)
The liquid is very cloudy and I am afraid that it may recrystalize, but I am unsure if this is normal or not as this is my first time.

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated!

I haven't done this, its too cheap in liquid form. But I would imagine its either too much crystal or just not mixed weel enough yet. Perhaps more dilution with vodka is in order.
