I had it set to 7 watts and it wouldn't fire it. Now the tank won't fire on anything. I have used the tank on 9 watt setting on my MVP 2.0 and it worked fine. The coil head was just replaced less than a week ago too. The tank does have standard 510 threading doesn't it?

I've never tried that combo. But it seems to me that unless you run low wattage, that device would destroy the kanger coils very quickly.

I have the dna 30 myself, I've never tried to run a pro tank on her. I use my RDAS mostly kayfun and taifun. I would tend to agree that the power (wattage) unless you went very low will distort the coil. What you CAN do is rebuild the pro tank coil yourself, when you rewick, use cotton. You should be able to vape at a higher wattage with your rebuilt coil. They are very easily rebuilt. If you have never done it, they have a step by step tutorial on you tube that will walk you through the entire process. You will need kanthal wire, I use 28 gauge. Cotton for wicking. Basically you will pull the bottom pin out, then the rubber insulator , then you can remove the old coil. Rewind a new coil, the video will show you exactly how to do this. Rewick with cotton. Slide the insulation back on one leg of the wire only and back into casing.position wick and coil replace pin and clip the wire leads. Then put the rest of the coils housing back together. If cotton is too long cut to fit. Then you should be able to run that coil without problems. But watch the video it goes step by step. Hope this helps you. Best wishes

It could have burned the small rubber insulator in the coil head causing it to short. Try a new coil, or take that one apart and inspect it and rebuild.

It would work no prob, at minimum wattage, but you would never use 20 let alone 30 watts with a pt.

That said, it would still fire the pt, and give you a solid mod to grow with, and running a pt would probably get good batt run time since you'd be running it so low.

The Cloupor mod is one of the best bargains out, and has proven to be a solid mod.

Vape long a acquire Prosper.!!!
