It's definitely safe, you're just not going to get anywhere near the potential of your T8 (which by the way is under 100W, don't feel bad, Cloupor lied to you). You found the subtank to be too airy even with the airflow adjusted all the way down? The reason a lot of these tanks have much higher airflow than the eGo-purpose equipment is because the higher wattage gear puts out so much more heat that in order to maximize the effectiveness of that much energy, a lot more air has to flow through to keep the liquid from overheating, which is why you can get such large clouds.

Yah it isn't a problem using it at lower wattage. I frequently stick my nautilus on top and run it down to 8.5W. As said above the Cloupor can just reach 100W on a perfect build, but that really wasn't a huge issue for me. Im not looking to ever got over 100W, and other than that it is a great mod in my mind. I got my Cloupor for a steal, so it's not like I'm out a bunch of money.

Agreed, it's a fine product, I don't know why people hate on Cloupor so vehemently. I gave them a second change with the Cloupor Mini, and I can tell you for sure that it's more accurately rated than an IPV mini by a substantial margin and reaches its rated 30W maximum easily. The great pricing on the T8 as a result of 'Wattagate" was actually a boon for many vapers.
