Hello¡

This is my first post to ECF as i have been creepin for a few months now and figured id get active finally.

Has anyone heard much about the Cloupor/HotCig/hcigar hana modz clones?

I know they arent as good as the authentics, as nothing really ever is... But for the value what do you guys know or consider?

I seem to be quickly outgrowing my equipment and finding myself needing upgrades far to often - i want to find a low cost dna20/30 stand in, and have been hunting for a while now.

I have been considering just making my own box mod as i am very mechanicaly/technologicaly inclined. It would be no issue to make my own, yet the Cana Modz are enticing considering the price and all...

Anyways, happy 4th of July! Hopefully someone reads this and responds lol.

Cheers!

I have the newer Cana modz too. It's got the narrower centre pin, which doesn't seem to be springy like the original - at least, I couldn't depress it with a push from a pair of tweezers. That's good, as there's been a report on youtube that the springy pin could get trapped in the gunk the innards are sprayed with to hold them in place. Still a little concerned at stories that below a decent charge level, it stops regulating and turns into a mech - I guess that can be tested with a decent voltmeter though.

I bought the cloupor Hana clone and i can't put it down. I got it for 70 buck with coupon and shipping from fluid vapes. Have had no problems and works awso e with my rsst genny. It has all the problems fixed. It wakes up and first click vape and sticker blank, and nothing Hana anywhere.
Heard anything about the hotcig sold by fasttech... bunches cheaper in comparison

I've had mine for almost a month. Basically, I quit using all of my other mods as soon as it arrived. I haven't touched my Nemesis in weeks and it's been my primary mod since January.

The finish isn't perfect. There are a few minor blemishes when the light hits it right. The ohms reading is sometimes off by .1 ohm. Sometimes it requires 2 clicks to fire when it comes out of sleep mod. But those are all very minor issues, especially for a 30watt regulated mod that only costs $70.

Don't expect perfection and you'll be very pleased with it. The minor flaws are just that, very minor. As far as how it actually works, it's awesome. Like I said, I really haven't used anything else since it arrived.

I love mine. Its the power of a mech with the benifits of a regulated device.

I wouldn't say it's the power of a mech. The coils I'm running now I couldn't run on my mech because it didn't deliver enough power.

1.4ohm twisted wire coil @ 19.5 watts. The most a mech could deliver would be 12.6 watts.

Cloupor> hotcig et al (all same factory)

Plenty of differences between the two starting with the case. The Cloupor case is closer to the Hana Modz box while the Fasttech model has that stupid seam running through the top. I highly doubt they are coming from the same factory. At this time if I where to buy one it would have to be the Cloupor version based on better designed box and better chip.

This is a great choice I just bought one myself. Got a great deal on a second generation with Improved electronic and 510 connection cloupor 1:1 dna clone from fluid vapes for 69 dollars. They are in stock and ship from california. They have three colors left. Black, red, and silver. I got the red on. Check it out its a great price!

the chinabox30 is probably the best vape value on the market today. Like mine for builds that stray close to 1 ohm or higher, but anything at 0.7 ohms or lower, get the S.Max or a mech, since I can get more watts that way.

With the advent of the 50 watt and higher mods out, the dna30 is almost obsolete. But still a damn fine apv.

Bought mine from Wetvapes and one from local shop I have 3 at present and love them all. I have built the SX350 and a Raptor I have to wait for the 510's didn't want to use cheap ones. Cant wait to vape those units one is 50W the other 120W I have a 200 and 300W chip for down the road, but somehow I don't think I'll ever vape higher then the 120 chip can go if even that.
