My hana modz V3 gets the weak or check battery error after being in sleep mode then disappears and fires fine. I am using a fairly new VTC5 and the battery does make contact. Should I be concerned?

Maybe you got a bad battery. I would borrow a battery from a friend or goto a b&m and see if you can test it with another to see if you get same results.

This is normal if you're only seeing it right as you wake the mod up. I've experienced this on both the DNA20 and DNA30 chips using both hard-wired LiPo packs and removable 18650s. I think it just takes a second or two for the circuitry to fully "wake up"
