Everything checks out fine so far.. Healthy baby boy, measuring in at 3.7 volts..

bronze.jpg

Difficult to photograph accurate color for the bronze & green..

Plus the bronze changes a lot, depending on the lighting.. It can get really dark in low-level lighting (which is fine by me, though did surprise me a little)..

But bring it outside in direct sunlight & the metallic really pops (will try to get a photo of that later)..

The Bronze is a really nice one, IMO..

And for those not familiar with the green LED, the menu is actually a lot more yellow than is showing in the photos (think: more like an alarm clock).. The shade of the button, which is a different & more true green, in real life looks closer to the menu's color in the photos..

I knew that going in, and both shades of green work well with the bronze.. :thumb:

A photo of the ever-growing family (paired with Satin Black)...

bronze & black.jpg

And for those who are growing their young ProVari family, I recommend different color LEDs.. Spices things up that much more..

Definitely going to try to make my next one a red...

green & blue.jpg

Anyway, nice job with the new box, too..
Another quick & smooth transaction (knock on wood), and satisifed ProVape customer! :vapor:

I didn't think I'd like the red LED, and when I got one, it became my out and about in bright daylight preference. It really shows up good in full sunlight. My blue is probably my favorite, but the green is nice too, on the green/blue hybrid, it just HAD to be green :)

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm totally digging the Yoda.. but I think I like blue LED better.. Then again, blue is really faint in strong sunlight..

I don't like the green menu LED as much when it's darker out, like it's too yellow (the button green is pretty hot, though!).. And yet, this seems to look better in more light (more viewable, too)... In fact, the whole bronze/green combo comes alive in stronger light..

What's messed up, though, is that under the right conditions I can get it looking like a dark gray, too..:thumb:

Anyway, barring no changes to ProVape's current line-up, I think my next V2.5 will be full-size satin silver w/ red LED, just to lighten & brighten things up.. Will also make a good outdoor beater model.. :D

Might be a while for that, though...

Gorgeous! That blue and black satin is definitely a rockin' night piece.

My next version may be a stealth...although P3 is coming ever closer...

Although I love my ProVarii equally, my first-born black & blue is pretty sick!

Appears that the menu LED & button LED even match.. ;)

Though if I had to do it over again, I'd definitely be tempted to spend the extra bux & get the Stealth, instead of the regular black/blue.. Only thing I don't like about it is the lack of low-battery flash indicator..

Yeah, earlier today I was thinking about that, too.. That I now have a day-time ProVari & an evening ProVari..:laugh:

Seriously, I wish I had a good camera or something that could catch all the metallic detail of the bronze in strong lighting/the sun.. Maybe it's just something that needs to be seen in person.. My old cheap camera makes it too flat & brown & muddy looking..

Anyway, P3 be damned, I say! :D It may or may not be suitable for everybody, for any variety of reasons.. So, I'd just get what you really want/need now or in the near future.. I shared similar thoughts just a couple weeks ago.. But you know what? The P3 will still be around in 6 months or whatever -- whenever it launches, that is.. It also might be more expensive than a regular ProVari (or even a Stealth), so it might make more sense to wait for a rare ProVape sale for that...

Even if it came out tomorrow (it won't, as I'm sure there will be a social media pre-announcement), I'm still happy I got my Yoda.. If finances allow, then go for it, you must! :headbang:

Congratz Gato for Provari #2!!! It is a chameleon type color dependent on the lighting.

Is it wrong that I'm already talking about #3 -- and possibly #4? :D

Yeah, I wasn't expecting the chameleon effect, especially since I'm so used to the Satin Black, and figured that was more reserved for other ones.. Certainly not complaining, just a pleasant surprise!

This picture was just taken with a Point & Shoot, but I was trying to capture the "sparkles" in the sunlight when I first got my Bronze:

Shows it off a lot better than mine.. I might try to grab one outside tomorrow..

I think it needs either one of those really expensive high-res cameras, or just see it with one's own eyes..

Then again, its color in lower-level lighting is still a reality, too, just so any potential buyers are aware..

I can see myself accidently knocking this one over in the dark, as well..

Congrats on the new addition ! I've been contemplating adding third for quite some time now. I miss my black/blue V2 that i sold a couple of months ago.

I've admired that tank for awhile, I love how it matches the bronze. What is it, and where did you get it?

Thank you, it is actually an IBTank 22mm with the Gold Caps, the tank was painted in the light swirl with Sandlewood and Gold. My son purchased it for my BD right after I received my Bronze ProVari and it matches it so well!

Okay, just tried some outdoor shots..

Partly cloudy, bit hazy, but some okay sun.. Nothing crazy strong, though..

And there's noooo way I can get the metallic to pop through with my old cheap camera.. Makes everything blurry & flat..

But, does show some additional tonal range of the chameleon-like effect via various lighting...

I tried again in the daylight, but I have determined without a better camera there isn't any way to capture the true beauty of this color. Those little flecks sparkle like gold to the naked eye....
