Clunky forum

I'm having to use a combination of the Android app and my mobile browser to successfully use this forum on my Android device. Unfortunately I switched over to desktop view in my browser earlier to get to my subscribed threads and now I can't find a link back to the mobile view... My browser is set to the Android agent, but it's still showing the desktop view...

Anyone know how to get it back to mobile format?

Quit using your phone to post on boards?

I have never come across a mobile format that I've liked and only post on boards from a computer at this point.

Clear your browser cache and cookies. Click the menu button on your phone, then More > scroll down to Settings, then scroll down to Clear Cache and Clear all cookie data. It'll be set back to mobile view. You are using the default Android browser, yes?

Nay, Dolphin HD, I thought I had cleared cookies, but only did cache, cleared it up, thanks for being a helpful member of the community slasher

I use an app called Tapatalk on my iPhone and iPad. There might be a version for Android too. I find it a much easier layout and good functions for watching subscribed threads (YMMV).

I have Tapatalk, I just hadn't tried it with ecf as someone had told the ecf app worked better. I'll try it out tho, thanks for the heads up!

I just wanted to drop in and say TapaTalk (Android) has solved all my issues with using the forums.

I highly recommend it for anyone posting from a smart phone... At least until the bugs are worked out of the official ECF app.
