Hey Folks!

First of all my Name is Jason and I like chinese noodles and pink poodles *j/k. This being my first post but long lurker I have a huge question. A few months ago I bought a Cobra rba from Siam-mods and love the taste from it. But I can only use it once in awhile cause to be honest every time I use it I feel like I just had an analog! Any clues on why this might happen? Maybe doing something wrong etcetcetc.

Thanks!

Every time I take a draw I feel winded and out of breath.... I Started with 18mg and read that the cobra nic delivery is strong so lowered to 12 then 6. All my juices come from MBV I use 400 ss and 32ga wire 5 wraps and get about 2.3ohms, I vape at 4.3 on my provari. Again the only way to emphasize it is like running a mile with an analog in my mouth.

ah i think i know where your going, the cobra also has one of the tightest draws of any genesis, and you may want to open the airhole just a bit. all mine are now at 1.2mm. many people complain that the tight draw is too much work for them, and your not the only person to feel out of breath fighting with it lol.
they purposely left it small so you could open it to whats comfortable.

also if your a newish vapor that was a heavy smoker the amount of vapor you get from a genesis atomizer is kinda overwhelming at first and may be a little tough to deal with that much vapor at first as all that pg/vg coats the lungs.

yea i got winded in the beginning too but sounds like a plan, genesis attys rock, and its usually not the first jump up into rebuildables, at least you got a nice one, my fav actually. but the genis are probably some of the hardest punch packing attys around compared to a carto lol

if you do plan to open it up go slow and do it in small steps. it doesnt take much to go ah crap thats way too open. i did this with my first atty and never used it again (was a cheapo anyways)

drill it a bit and use it awhile and adjust to the airflow before deciding on opening it more i know its not a lot but .1mm makes a noticeable change.and may take you a little usage to see it. its always easier to make it bigger then to figure out how to make it smaller again.

for reference the hole is 1mm out of the factory.

3 months in is great, good luck on sticking with vaping, and give it another 6 months and youll be hammering that cobra lol i was at 2pad for 33 years and took me about 6 months to get a good steady breath back now 1 1/2year later i run, bike and swim again, AND fog out the room with the cobra a dripper and a couple kayfuns.
