im growing tired of the ss mesh and would like to return to ceramics . my prob is the 3/32 is not being produced and from what ive been told the 7/64 is to big . from my experience with the 3/32 they seem way to fragile to file down for me , so does anyone know if a small file can be used to inlarge the hole to a little bigger than the 7/64 , and if so can I use a small round file to do it?

hey buddy, not sure about filing the wick hole on the cobra, especially because they are titanium but maybe someone else might know a little better being that i dont actually own one. what i can say is that it is possible to buy some 7/64 ceramic wicks and try to sand down the bottom of the wick, just the part that is in the wick hole, although the best results have been a totally loose fitting wick, but it is worth a try. one good thing is that once you get a ceramic wick set-up it is good for a long while, i have had one of my wicks in my device for close to 2 months without it even being out, i just wet burn sometimes, so its not like you have to keep making new wicks every couple of weeks, even if you had to sand down the whole wick to 3/32 and then install it, it is going to be good for a long time without messing with it. it would be nice to drill out the wick hole slightly larger then 7/64, then you wouldnt have to worry about it anymore but i really dont know if the atty has the clearance. i have yet to hear of anyone doing this with the cobra. good luck
