it popped up on my facebook feed so i took a screenshot. went back to find the one who posted but it got deleted before i can ask where he got it from.

I saw on another forum you've found something similar, just thought for others who may be interested in something similar, that if you search for a "stepped mandrel" you can find like items. It's basically a jewelers or beading tool. I have'nt found one with the exact same sizes as the one in the OP, but I'm sure that they're out there. About 5 bucks for both on Amazon............use the small one of course.

This is what I use. My wife makes jewelry so she has all this stuff. You can put this in a small handheld power screwdriver, push the button and it will keep wrapping until you release. Makes very tight coils. I typically use the 2mm and 2.5mm sizes for wrapping, then the 1mm to hold it in position while mounting it into the base and preparing the wick.
