Coil build question

I have a mitation v4 and have kanthal 24,26 and 28 gauge kanthal whats the best wire to use on the mutation i want 1 ohm coils and .5 ohm coils . Thanks

I am certain there are dozens of possible builds. However when I go to build my simple coils I use this steam engine : http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?r=0.5&awg=24&id=2

Hey there @Sandrodec!

Just want to throw out there - do you have a good ohmmeter to check your builds? Just because you wrap to "spec" doesn't mean that you'll get exactly that resistance. Gotta be able to check for shorts and whatnots.

If you are comfortable measuring your builds, I'll just slink back into my hole
