I have a panzer mechanical mod and a plume veil Atty. Im using a samung 18650-25r. The continuous discharge is 15amps. I'm running a dual coil build at .5 ohms which give me an 8.4 amp draw. I am new to building and would like any tips or criticisms...I should add I'm using 26ga kanthal and organic cotton.

The Samsung INR18650 2500mah 25r has a CDR of 20a.
.5 is well within the ' safe ' zone for a 20 CDR battery, as long as you measure resistance & check for shorts using a dvom or one of the box 510 ohms checkers before pressing the fire button you should be fine.

The Samsung 25r is a 20amp CDR battery which means that it can handle a .21 ohm build which puts it at its 20 amp CDR limit is it recommended no you never want to push the limits of your battery. You can safely build .25 and enjoy it and here's the other thing a continuous drain means holding the fire button until the battery is completely dead nobody is every going to do that. We as vaper's are only pulsing the battery for maybe 3 to 6 seconds so this is why you see guys building .06 ohm builds on mechanical mods and using these batteries, at 294 watts you aren't going to be pulling on that for more than a second or 2 this does however create a 70 amp load and has the potential to end up bad so stay above the.21 range and you'll be fine and 26 gauge wire is a great all around wire I use it a lot especially for the plume veil.

Thanks so Much for the info. I have no desire to push my battery anywhere near its limits, so if I'm in the safe zone I'll stay there. Your coils look soooooo much better than mine, lol.
.5 is a good place to be with 25Rs. My usual builds are around .5 to .6 ohms. If I ever feel the need for more power I take out my Sigelei. It'll give me higher wattage through the same amount of wire.
I use those batteries and have a 0.5Ω build in an RDA , batteries are perfectly safe at that resistance.
