Anybody know any good tutorials out there on some really cool builds? Anything other than TM, Rip, Squid Doode, OhBoy, etc. I've already mastered all of the builds that don't require ribbon wire (because I have none) so I'm looking for some new ideas. I see A LOT of cool stuff on instagram and I just wish there were that many tutorials on the interwebs. Like I just don't see a clapton as something impressive anymore, but when I last Googled "crazy coil builds" all I got were pictures of claptons and parallel builds and that's not crazy in my book. I want to try something like an interlocking clapton, because for the life of me I can't figure out how it's made. Any good tutorials out there?

For an interlocking alien, it's the same process, but the alien wrap is a staggered Clapton. You can use the same gauge or different gauges. So cut 2 5' pieces of Clapton wire, wrap it up together but be careful not to have your Clapton wraps overlap on eachother. Gently remove your Clapton, stretch it to alien length (should be 2 wires, not just the one) and proceed to do your interlocking alien.
For a stitched alien, take a piece of wire about 2-4 gauges smaller than your Clapton. So if your alien wrap is 30g, take either a piece of 32 or 34g, cut it to about 5 feet and stretch your decored Clapton around it. Then it's just like doing a normal alien wrap. Hope this somehow helps, it's kind of hard to explain.
