Coil catching fire?

Alright folks, been building coils ~ month and I have either never noticed or it hasn't happened till now. But I was re wicking my kayfun and decided to dry burn as usual when boom(not literally) there was a little flame if I held the trigger for more than a sec, so I tried about 3-4 more times and same scenario. My build, micro coil wrapped on 5/64 bit,.65 ohm powered on sentinel m16 Sony vtc5 battery was at 3.8v. I've re wicked this coil probably 4 times. So anyways I re wicked it and used for 2 hrs no prob. But just wondering if this is a typical thing or is something wrong?

Both VG and PG are flammable if heated hot enough. I just blow out the flame, which just takes a little puff and continue until all the liquid has evaporated.

Really sweet juices will do that when your coil is really gunked up. I probably would try to dry burn the coil more often for they type of juice, so the gunk doesn't build up so much.

Lmao, but thanks good to know all is well I really don't like changing wicks often, (every 3-4 days )cuz it always waste a little juice. But ill try more.

I always rinse my coil in water then dab to dry before dry burning.
