Coil-less Ce4?

Am I just blind or what? I bought a cheapo 5 pack of clearos from stevens wholesale so I could have them to try new flavors, and as I was cleaning out the three I used so far I noticed there is no coil wrapped around the wicks. Is it more likely a super thin almost invisible coil or???

There's a "flavor wick" draped over the coil. You can see the coil underneath... basically they wrap a coil around a wick, install it, then they drape another piece of silica over the top to improve the flow of juice to the coil and reduce hot juice spitting off of the bare coil and into your mouth.

I see that now. Oh well it was just out of curiousity anyhow, I plan on picking up a protank 2 from a local shop once my Vamo comes in.
