Micro Coil Question

Hi guys, I just built me a microcoil on a protank 2. Came out to 2.8 ohms. Used some 30 guage kanthal. It's vaping superb, especially with the cotton wick. My question is , how are the coils supposed to glow? I got them super tight and with no overlaping at all. When they start glowing, they start from the center of the coil then the glow gets completely orange on all coils. Basically, what I'm asking is, are the coils supposed to start glowing from the center? It looks pretty cool, it's a nice glow from the center then it evenlly spreads to the sides. I'm new to the microcoils and rebuilding in general.

I haven't made you used micro coils, but I do know when one makes a coil it should glow from the center out.
