I know your supposed to line up your airhole with your coil. But other than that, is the coil supposed to be below/above? Slightly above / slightly below?

Its wierd because with my trident, i find it almost impossible to have the airhole dead on with the coil. I would have to sit the coil literally 1 nanometer from the base deck, which would short. Therefore my coil is pretty much always above my airhole. Any hints?

Not so close to the hole that's its about to touch and ground. Don't have it hugging the posts either. Height affects throat hit higher the coil is off the deck more th, opposite for less th but don't get too close to deck as it will ground also.(dont know trident, but this applies to all rebuildable drippers) Mow just experiment and find that perfect vape. Once you do you will be chasing a better vape:)

thank you for the advice sir. i finally figured out how to get it aligned with my airhole, but one other problem presented itself. When in-line with my airhole now it kind of blocks the airhole lol. When i inhale from the drip tip, the draw seems way tighter. Im guessing its because the added resistance to the airflow hole. Maybe i should rebuild my coil closer to the posts? They are about at the halfway point from the posts to base edge.
