Coil question

Hello, new to the forum and relatively new to vaping. Only been doing it about 3 or 4 months. I have a question. My kanger mini protank 3 is leaking, even after putting new coils on it. I watched a video, and the guy said that stemless coils are the solution. My question is, anyone know where to get stemless coils for the mini protank 3?

sometimes when you buy a pack of coils, they might look the same as your old coil but they might be a little shorter because there are coils made for slightly different tanks that look awfully close.

try adding a second silicone cap; if it fits when you put everything back together then the coil head is a tad too small and leaving a space;

Oh you are using miniprotank3; the miniprotank3 uses dual coils which are alot taller than the protank2 coils; are you using the protank3 dual coils? or did you just order regular protank single coils

Unless you can't be bothered or have some difficulty for certain reasons then rebuildables are the way to go - After doing your research.

For the pre-mades I used a nautilus and after some kinks and reading up on it I found it to be good but now I build the way i want to in regards to ohms and wicking. Well with in the parameters of the devices.

In addition to the original coil that came with it, I've tried 3 different dual coils. They all leak. Is it possible that I need a new base?

On the mini base there is a thin silicone ring seal;
I once had a tank that was leaking crazy until one day I realised that the base on it had no seal; must have slipped off sometime when I was cleaning/washing in a cup of hot water with other stuff/parts.

I stuck a screwdriver in there to highlight the silicone seal.

I have a mini protank 3 and when I 1st started using it I had the same problem with leakage. My problem was that my tank base was not threaded on the interior, as it should be, for the coil to thread into. I was using it with the coil simply sandwiched between the base and the chimney. Once I learned that it was supposed to be threaded I contacted the company that I purchased it through and they immediately sent me a new base. I realize that this may not be your particular situation, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. BTW, for relatively similar price, my Aspire Nautilus is a much better design.
