I think he's asking about the difference between fused claptons and claptons that have a parallel inner core. I don't really know.. I just bought my first spool of clapton wire, (Geek Vape; 28g parallel core, 32g wrap). I have no experience with fused claptons, but they definitely look more complex and fatter.

Fused Clapton - 2 Inner wires Fused together by an outer Wrap Forcing continuous contact along the length.
Parallel Coils 2 Coils inter wrapped together to create one length with 2(dual) connections.
A parallel coil is two coils in parallel.
A fused clapton is a parallel core, with an outer wrap.
A fused clapton is a parallel core, with an outer wrap.
Debatable, parallels definitely spit less and they don't require the output of an electrical substation to heat up. But apart from that....
The difference?
The parallel coils will outperform the claptons across the board.
That's like saying, I don't like salt on my fries, so therefor it's better
More efficient, less ramp up time, larger contact surface. Parellel coils offer better flavor and more vapor, and can do so with a fraction of the power required for thick claptons.
But hey, claptons are prettier.
Its not a debate.
Claptons for show, parallels for a pro.
