As well as most of what has already been listed, I'll add I have a pick from one of those cheap dental kits. It's great for moving wraps on a coil, poking out airholes etc.

An old toothbrush and a pipe-cleaner for cleaning attys and decks, coils etc.

Not totally necessary for rebuilding as such, but they make my life easier.

I am one of those that cannot build a coil on a drill bit. Don't ask why, I have no idea. I use this: Artistic Wire® Coiling Gizmo® Deluxe Econo Winder

I get beautiful coils with no effort. I use my PV to check my coils, it is a very reliably accurate device. Since I don't go sub ohm, I don't worry about wrapping anything under 1.0. I used a data sheet for approximate wraps and when I got the range I wanted, I just duplicate how many on subsequent coils.

I also have these DenTek Easy Brush Cleaners, Standard | drugstore.com to clean my coils after dryburning them. Picked them up at the drugstore.
