Could be. If it was on a dripper where I would see it all the time I would probably change it. But it vapes so good I hope it lasts a month.

coils don't have to be pretty however it depends on what you're going for? were you going for a micro coil? if so you could just check out super x drifters video's or others on here for super easy ways to make them and mount them. make sure to check for hot spots etc man. vape on!

I'm pretty sure coils that are more uniform do have a performance that is also uniform.

I doubt you could make another coil just like that one, where as an evenly spaced uniformly wrapped coil is repeatable.

I've made a bunch of coils. I have started experimenting with different winds and such just to see what does and doesn't work. It seems like two twisted 30 gauge works best for me. The one pictured in the OP is two 30 gauge loosely twisted with gap in between the winds. It works really well.

The twisted wire would look a little better if you maintained a little more tension and did a little more twisting. Those coils look good.
