your math says you've been using these coils for almost 10 years ... how long have these been out?

HAH yeah, I should have explained better. I run 5 BVC coils at a time. 1 x p3, 3 x p2.5, 1 x VTR and I usually rotate them out in a weeks time but as I mentioned above I have done some tests and had outliers within that. For nic base, I find the flavor to be less bright after a week and if I have the coils to spare I will toss them every Sunday. My wife also runs 2 at a time but her favorite juices are super dark/thick/sugary and kills BVC coils in 5-7 days so usually we average 2 packs a week over a 1 year spread. The total count includes defective coils, ones with mispacked wick, DOA, etc.

Essentially, I have burned through a sh*t ton of BVC coils and they are my fav still. Although I wish I had used them for 10 years. I would have started vaping before I started smoking but that would have been a better thing to do :)

You might want to check out the Kabuki tank. My experience over the past month or two is the Nautilus coils last much longer in the Kabuki than in a standard Nautilus tank. And this is with the same juice running on a P3 at the same power. In my case eight watts. I have no idea why the coils last longer in a Kabuki, but they do.

The taste is also much better. I can take clean tanks, put in new coils, the same juice and notice the difference immediately. And by and large my taste buds are crummy.

And I cannot prove this one at all, but I think one uses less juice in a Kabuki than in a regular Nautilus.

YEP that is the plan. I am saving up to buy 4 of them in one shot but now that the radius is coming out, I might hold off and just get one and a radius. Not sure just yet what I am going to do.

I did order a Radius and a Kabuki for it today. I will probably order a couple more Kabukis soon and use them instead of the P3 Nautilus tanks. The capacity of the Nautilus is nice, but the Kabuki just has it beat in all other areas.

The truth indeed. I have been coming off a long line of high wattage devices, RDA's, boutique mechanical mods, and DIY gear and I recently found my happy place with Provape gear and BVC coils. Provape makes the quality stuff I need for the style of vaping I have settled into and the BVC coils are about as good as it gets right now for high resistance disposable atomizers. In reality, Kabuki's are an extension of that same quality design I look for and I think that the nautilus series was just setting me up to understand that kabuki = my happy place.

Just like everything else in my life, it is just one iteration after another towards perfection.

The Kabuki does a better job of atomizing the juice that wicks into it, and it does seem to use less because of that. It's not a HUGE difference by any means, but it does consume a little less.

Zen, one could say I like the Kabukis. I had four. Ordered one yesterday with the Radius order. And just ordered two more to replace a couple of P3 Nautilus tanks. There's just no comparison in taste. The Kabukis win by miles!

Yea! Just checked tracking and two more Kabukis arriving today from ProVape. I can retire the Nautilus P3 tanks.

Im new here just joined but have been over at Aussie Vapers Forum for 4 yrs and have had a Provari for that time.

I got sick of boge cartos burning out and got on the bandwagon with a Nautilus and Aspire coils and had success at first and then had the same problem burning out coils one after another same as the OP, I would literally go through what she is going through now.

Had me stumped had two PV,s and same thing on both of them so ordered from different suppier and wadda ya know back going again but still getting a few duds every pack,i switched tanks to a beyond vape silo and BVC vertical coils and very rarely have a dud coil now.

And the only juice I Vape is AVE Bobas Bounty and Gorilla 6-12mg

I have been so impressed with the Reviews of the Kabuki I have 3 on the way from Provape plus a Radius and a TI P3 Stealth.

Plus heap of spares from HOH , and tanks from Spectrum & IBT.

Tumbleweed I feel for you it is frustrateing and all I can say is something dosnt add up you sHouldnt be having such a high failure rate.

Im using 1.6 ohm coils @ 4.4 v on Pro Vari 2.5 from start and don't prime the coil beforehand just le it sit for 5 mins and vape away.

I do change them weekly as the Bobas dose gunk them up and im lazy at cleaning my tanks, every couple of months if im lucky.

Don't despair it will work out for you one of the Gurus here will sort it im sure.

Cheers from Aus
