Got a Tasty Vapor Cherry Cola double flavor in a trade. I'm getting artificial cinnamon flavor from it. Is this typically in the dark soda flavoring? My taste buds seem to be hypersentive to it and now are swollen...ugh. I can't do cinnamon candy at all without this happening. I was thinking of trying a Dr Pepper type but now am worried.

There might be cinnamon in the drops used by the vendors. Hard to avoid it that way.

I understand completely. Lime makes me physically ill. I can tolerate minute bits of it, but even that makes my stomach turn. I'm also very aware of cinnamon in any juice. I can vape it. But I know when it's there. I think this is partly because they tend to be oil based. (but that's just a theory)

Thanks everyone. Like LB's reaction, it's just not worth it to me to take a chance. My tongue still has bumps from vaping about 10 drops over 24 hours ago. It's the first "soda" flavoring I have tried and cure me of that idea straight away. 8-o

I clean my atty every night since I am very fond of keoke coffee:thumb:

i hear ya! i'm often afraid of some of the lemons, because of my lime reactions. it's not worth it to: a. feel sick-b. toss the atty (because no matter HOW much I clean it, I can still taste the lime - c. lose money (juice and atty)........................on a cinnamon note: if you have bad reactions to cinnamon, you may want to avoid TV juices. I think they use cinnamon quite often. Also, I'd tell any potential trade partner.. One friend of mine is a big fan of the mints/menthols.. so everything she sends me smells like mint! It doesn't bother me, but if it was lime... WHOLE 'nother story!c. feel sick

Regarding cinnamon:

LB, your essential oil/lime problem might have to do with terpenes. I think the way this works is that some essential oils just have them, then some are sold as "terpeneless". But that is all misleading and "terpeneless" just means lower in terpenes and if they were truly terpeneless it wouldn't be able to provide the characteristic flavor. I think I read that there is no sort of regulation or trade standards about the use of this moniker.

Did you ever try PA lime/lemon? I could be wrong but the lemon seemed oil-free, but then it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not really sure how to solve these problems you two experience, except maybe to suggest you try higher quality products like FA's Ceylon Cinnamon maybe.
