I believe Rachel whips up a diy cola that she is always talking about, maybe ask for the recipe?

Yes she does, Tim!

Hi Danesnpits!
FVxh8.gif
Happy to help out. I use Cola (Tri) from Perfumer's Apprentice to DIY.

I'm happy to say it's turned into my usual all-day vape. I never found any other cola, or rootbeer or anything - in a pre-mixed ejuice or in a DIY flavouring - that came anywhere close to the sheer realism & deliciousness of this flavour. Here's the recipe that I usually go with for this juice, just click the image thumb below to see it in full-size:

I used the free e-juice calculator at the following address (& highly recommend it):

todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php

As you can see, it's very simple.

- 26 drops of flavourless PG w/nic (28mg nic strength) (65%)
- 10 drops of plain VG (25%)
- 4 drops of Cola (Tri) flavouring (10%)

= 40 drops of Cola (Tri) e-juice (i.e. 2mL, at 18mg nic strength)

Just repeat twice in the same bottle, for double the juice. At 10%, this particular flavour comes through strong & really shines. Tastes exactly like cola too: I can even taste the bubbles! I do often add 1 extra drop of flavouring per batch, for extra zazz - but either way, she's good! Vapes really well, lovely cola 'bite' to it, great throat hit too, even at 18mg.

(By the way, the regular Cola from PA is absolutely terrible. It doesn't even taste like cola, but more like some chemical-tasting Mountain Dew variant. I wrote to Linda about this & she said yes, the triacetin version turned out much, much better. Jack at Happy Vaper doesn't carry Cola (Tri) yet but you can get it directly from Perfumer's Apprentice:

Perfumers Apprentice - Cola (Tri)

I recommend the 15mL at least; I went through my first 4mL faster than any other flavour before, because it was so good. Was torture waiting to get more!)

---

Hope that helps!! If you want, I can mix up a 3mL squeeze bottle of ready-to-vape Cola (Tri) juice for you (is 18mg nic strength ok?) and mail it to you. I'm sending several such samples out to at least 3 other people here on either Friday, or next Monday. Not sure if I'd be doing you a favour though - once you try it, you'll go crazy till you can have it again!

Anyway, please let me know. Happy vaping & talk soon!

No DIY for me..I am not that brave yet to try doing it myself. I am so new to this whole thing, and just learning how to operate and maintian my ecigs and products has been a challenge..not to mention researching what to even buy! It was a bit of a nightmare to say the least but thanks to www.happyvapors.com and this forum. I couldn't have done it without y'all! Maybe in a few months I will start doing some DIY but for now...too scared of nicotine overdose!

If going with DIY, definitely go with Rachel's recommendations. Poor thing, she has given up on trying to convert me to DIY!.. (Hugz Rachel!)

I have tried a sample of Tasty Vapors pre-mixed Cola and it was amazing.. Sweet and bubbly (fizzy) on the palette. I'm a root-beer kinda guy myself and found the cola too sweet to my taste. But, it was GOOD, Really GOOD!!

Right on Danesnpits! I'll send you a PM re: DIY (where to get flavourless PG or VG with nic, without nic, flavouring, bottles, blunt-tip syringes, the whole works) so that you always have it for future reference.

I have sort of given up on cola flavours as never tried one that I liked. They all taste like flat coke to me. If Jack gets some tri cola it I will try it.

Personally I mix a base with no flavouring just a wee bit higher nic level then I want in a 30ml bottle. I normally mix 15% VG with a little PGA 3-5% and my nic juice to create a 18mg strength liquid. I would make it 20mg if I wanted my mixes to be at 18mg strength.

I feel there are several advantages to this;
- easier and quicker to mix different samples.
- you don't need to handle the high nic juice as often.
- larger bottles containing your main supplies are not exposed to the air, light or temperature changes as often.
- easier to use dropper bottles to create your mixes rather then needing syringes measuring devices etc

You can send me one too if you want ;) When will you be making a PA order next Rachel?

Just placed one yesterday, Tim!
kvaS2.gif

I had the honour of being the very first to order two brand-new flavours (since they were put up about 60 seconds before I went there, lol) - Cotton Candy (Circus), and the simply-named Sour. I anticipate the Sour having all sorts of uses with other flavours. Can't wait!

But yeah...PM me your mailing addy Tim & I'll see you get some ready-to-vape Cola (Tri) too.

hotone: I totally hear you re: flat-tasting colas. But this one definitely isn't like that - it has bite, bubbles, natural freshness. It could be my imagination but when I mix it up in the little glass dram bottle, it even seems to chill the bottle!

I don't know if it'll help but you can go to Michaels craft store and in there baking section they have Wilton Glycerine for restoring consistency of icing colours and I have found it works great for diy. I also use Humco brand Glycerin from Walmart its listed as skin protectant but its pretty much the same thing. I learned this from the main vapers forums under LorAnns flavours at Walmart hopefully that'll help you or someone else out there.

Thanks for the recipe, Rachel! I have been attempting to quit drinking Coke as well as quitting smoking, so I think that this might just be the perfect vape for me. Best of both worlds. I'm too new around here to be asking for samples, :) so I will be picking up some flavorless base and Tri cola flavoring as soon as I scratch up some funds. Thanks again for the recipe!
