Color blind vapers suport group..

Yea, I'm going to start one..

I am color blind... so I have a heck of a time telling when my batteries are charged.. I cant tell if the light is red or green..

Any tips on how i can solve my problem?

I'd go with the suggested recharge time given by supplier/manufacturer .... which is what I do anyways ... don't have a lot of faith in the little green light

I guess if you cant see the colors you could always just set a timer for it? ... sounds dumb but its about the only thing I can come up with

I have to ask my wife. Now is use ultrafire 14500 bats in a case mod and the charger is the only one I have that I can see when the green light comes on.

Timing only works when you know the battery is fully discharged. If you charge after a couple of hours use, then it does not make sense to wait a full four or eight hours.

I'm wondering it a 'filter' - say a piece of colored tape or a small colored "dome" that changes the hue would help. A 'blue' overlay would make the red - purple and the green more towards a cyan, I think

Of course an electronics whiz could hook up a buzzer... that would be annoying....

What ecig do you have?

The new EVO chargers don't have a light but the tip of the battery lights up when it's done. No use unless you have an M401 though.

I'm not fully informed exactly how colored blindness is manifested - is it the inability to see (or not differentiate between) all shades of green and red, or only a particular range of them. IOW, is, say, neon green able to be detected where as say, hunter green is not? Or can you see pink but not red??

I also have a blue-green color deficiency. At night, you never know when a street light might turn red.

I am not color blind, but I am dyslexic and find myself sometimes sucking on the LED light. Can we change it to Vapers with Disabilities, or do I have to start my own group? ((Stupid e-cig, not producing any vapor, dumb rough tipped mouth piece resembling cigarette ash...wait...opps...))
