I've noticed that juices I make up with cream type flavors turn pink after a few hours. Has anyone noticed this? It's happened with different manufacturers' flavors- Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Custard, and French Vanilla. It did not happen with Vanilla Cupcake, which doesn't seem like it has a cream/custard flavor.

I haven't made up any juices with cream flavors but not peppermint yet, so I don't know if it's the peppermint oil or something else. Hmmm.

I think I read somewhere (sorry, I don't remember where) that vanillin + nicotine = pink.

Tona, is on the right tract. Nicotine typicaly yellows as it oxydizes but sometimes can have a rose hue depending on chemicals present. I've seen a number of post regarding this and still not sure exactly what causes the rose color.

I think its more the nic oxidizing than the flavor changing . Flavors do get darker but not necessarily pink . My vanilla custard goes from light yellow to gold after steeping but not pink . My van cupcake the same .My van cupcake (capella) tastes like van custard with icing . With nic i find that vg nic base turns pinkish more often then Pg nic
