Colored glass replacement for Mini Pro Tank II: color stripping off?

I don't know if any of you have a colored tank replacement, but have you had a juice strip the color off? I just noticed that was happening to the tinted glass on my MPTII filled with Cosmic Fog's Gummy Cola. (Side note: if you liked those gummy cola bottles from the drug store, you will love Gummy Cola and Giant Vapes is the best site around, especially if you life in the northeastern US because the shipping is lightning fast and free.) I have stopped vaping on it for the time being, as I'm quite leery of what might be in that coating. I guess my question is, should I try to strip the rest of the coating off? Has anyone had any ill effects from this?

I'm surprised they would put the coating on the inside.

If it is coming off it is going into the juice and if it is in the juice some of it ends up in your lungs. If you want lots of unknown stuff in your lungs cigarettes are easier.

Hmmm, as mentioned, the concern is that the coating is inside. Is this an original or clone MPT II?

The color started coming off my blue PT2 mini, but it was the outside. I could rub my fingernail on the a few time and see the color change.

It happens to the PT2's as well..... but the color is on the outside. I noticed this while giving mine a good, thorough scrubbing.

Ack. I've got red glass in the mail today to replace the one I cracked from my starter kit. I'll have to try scratching part of it off in an inconspicuous area before vaping on it tonight...
