So last night I had this "bright idea" that if I can't have pluid 24/7 I want the color at least lol so I dropped 2 skittles in my juice, and here is what I came out with.

so my question is, can this be a problem on my wicks or inside of my tank? I've noticed no wicking issues, no sticky problems, no side effects, but I also didn't get the skittle taste either which is good. I mixed it with green apple from the vapors apothecary.

I used to do that in matching the color to the particular flavor... but, I decided against it because the whole idea for me was to get away from anything "extra" i'm inhaling to be as far away from any additional additives as I possibly can. (Personally I don't think using a drop or two in say 90ml will make any difference in a harmful way but, it's just my opinion on it...)

Instead, if you are able to order some tanks that would match the flavor so you can switch between them also works. For instance, use a green tank for flavors like Key Lime or apple, red for cinnamon or cherry, pink for minty flavors, clear or smoked for coffee's of mocha's. I'm doing this now instead of coloring them anymore... personal preference over any food coloring)

By the way, it really does help while changing tanks and knowing what's in them... :)

Everyone's responses have been considerably kind so far... It doesn't seem to have much effect on you.

SERIOUSLY??? The point of vaping is finding a healthier alternative to smoking and you want to put things in your tank regardless of health implications just so it looks pretty??? Wow.. this kind of behavior WILL lead to someone dropping dead, having inhaled something toxic due to a complete disregard and lack of respect for the process of creating DIY Ejuice. That will end the DIY industry in a heartbeat im sure..

Well, considering the 4000+ other chemicals found in a typical cigarette, the odds are better that you'd be okay with adding a coloring if one wished, (in a weighted theory) although... as I said earlier, i'd recommend getting a different tank color instead of coloring the juice. I agree with you actually... i'd stay away from anything other than a pure mixing of nothing but what's necessary. Personally, I make about 12 different flavors so, instead of coloring each and every juice, I just put them in categories of colored tanks ( ^ as I said up there ^ ) instead of adding anything else to keep it as pure as possible. :)

Tanks are cheap... (if you trust ordering them direct from China) *Personally, I've had no problem with it at all* Try here...

It'll save you some SERIOUS cash while you are perfecting those flavors and it's affordable for those that are thinking about starting an enterprise in their area for a business... Why pay between $4.50-$8.00 per tank when you can get them for yourself at what the local dealers and those online pay. It's the same tanks... the markup is unreal. :)

Lol it was just a test theory people. Don't overreact now, that would just be ridiculous. It was neat, not peer pressuring the idea or saying it was safe or smart. I'm not backing it up. I posted it here for this very reason, to hear the info others know, and i was unaware of. No I'm not fearful of it. I am also not dumb therefore I know it's ludicrous tp use, so I've not used it.
