Colors that Flavors Reach After Steeping

We had a suggestion to start a new thread stating what our experience has been with the color change in different liquids when they have reached a good flavor for vaping. I know when my liquids are perfect to vape just by the color changes with most of them. Here is a few of the ones that I found and I will add to it as I have time. Feel free to post your experience.

Orange Creamsicle Deep almost reddish orange
Butterscotch Almond Deep golden orange
Pina Colada Deep dark pink
Strawberry Twist dark red
Hopscotch Golden orange
Hawaiian Tropic, Bilberry Fruits seem to remain clear
Butterscotch Deep golden yellow
Honey Clear
Almond Pleasure and most of the dark colored liquid just get darker.

When well-steeped...

Hypnotic Mist Orangey-pink (starts almost clear/slightly pinkish)
RY4 Reddish brown (starts a bit lighter/less red)
Irish Cream Light to medium brown (starts very light beige)

RY5 starts out almost a carmel color and then just keeps getting darker. I would say my bottle of 3 week old RY5 looks like dark chocolate now.

I think this thread will help alot of people and possibly save negative comment's toward the juice maker's.I for one will not pass a judgement on a freshly made juice till I have it for about a month,now to figure out how to stay ahead.I need a juice cellar of sort's so I don't run out.I never in my wildest dream's would of thought nic-juice get's better with age,kinda like a fine wine now we can age it and sell it for more money like they do wine LoL,for example one enters store give me the finest 2009 nic-juice you have store owner no problem we have this fine juice that will 89.99 per 10ml wow stunning but hey you never know......

I AM bummed bad...I let myself run out of max/boro uggghhhhhh now it's gonna be a month before I get it and let it age..I too am goin too add a flavor oba oba color is reddish orange that's dated 9/14 from last batch that I ordered.I say keep this page rolling along.I myself think a month for a deep smooth vape on any juice from FREEDOM SMOKES USA NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH OTHER VENDOR

Hey Bradyo, David is working on a gold label juice that he will offer that will be steeped a minimum of 6 months to my understanding. Can you just imagine?

Vanilla Classic (50/50 vg/pg) - Very translucent, but with an orange tint
My 12 mg is a deeper orange than the 6 mg

Peach (50/50 vg/pg) - Clear (both 6 mg and 12 mg)

Thin Mints (50/50 vg/pg) - Almost black like a very dark chocolate

Good point, VG. Nic content may make colors vary slightly as will PG/Vg ratio.

I have noticed VG/PG does affect color.

My Hypnotic mist at 90/10 was more pinkish than my 50/50 which is orangey-pink. And my 90/10 Irish Cream was darker than high VG Irish Cream.

Yeah after I thought about it I would hate for others to look here and find that their liquids are not the exact colors as some stated. Good idea to mention the variables.

There are a ton of variables. Brand new nicotine juice is perfectly clear, but after a while, it may turn slightly yellow. This can also effect how the colors come out after it's mixed down. Flavorings also may change color after being exposed to air a few times. These color changes are just natural, and if you DIY I'm sure you've noticed that your ingrediants look different as they "age," in addition to your juices looking different as they age.

I'd say these are just guidelines, given how many variables there are.

This is an awesome idea! My addition:

50/50, 12mg Torrone is a bright tannish melon color at 2 months.

50/50, 12mg RY4 is a deep reddish brown at 2 months. It also coats the inside of the bottle with a burnt orange color when shaken.

Ok. I have what seems to be a dumb question. Here goes..... I had ordered some chocolate.....back in the middle of Oct. 12mg/50/50 mix of pgvg. It is the pre-mixed. Came in crystal clear...no color at all. So I have put it away to age. Still is crystal clear, no color at all, so I smelled it. No smell. I took a drop and put it on my tongue. No chocolate, just sweet....it is like they forgot to put in flavoring. I do have some capella chocolate fudge flavoring that I can put in it, but I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I am not trying to make a big deal of this.... just wondering.

I have not ordered the chocolate, so I can't give you a definite answer about what's it's supposed to look like, but clear doesn't sound right to me. I'd suggest contacting David and Pam. It could be a new employee error that needs fixed.
