Combining single flavors from different vendors?

Waiting on my first DIY order. I am going to start with single flavors, raspberry and grape. I ordered each flavor from CP and FA (as well as others). I read somewhere that people use a mix of the same flavors from different vendors. So…. any one mix same flavors (from diff vendors) together to improve the taste? Any input on this practice would be much appreciated,

I have done so. TFA Peanut Butter + Capella Peanut Butter tasted better to me than each alone. I did within the same manufacturer too, a touch of TFA Ripe Banana to bump up the mellower Banana Cream, a mix of TFA Marshmallow and Toasted marshmallow, etc. There are recipes around using 2 different strawberry flavors, one by itself would be too syrupy for example.

That's one of the first things I learned about flavorings. Mixing 2-3 single flavors from different manufacturers can actually combine the best of each into one. Last year I was listening to the Jeannie K show and she was intervieving the guy from Alice in Vapeland. He mentioned that that was what he did.
