I am a newbie and I am new to ordering on line. Last week I placed an order with e-cigarette on line only to find out they ship from China. I m wondering how long it will before I get my stuff? Has anyone had this experience? I wouldn't have made this order if I knew it was that far away. They have a facebook page that I've went to but can't find any comments either favorable or negative. The site says you will receive your order in 9 to 20 days. It's going to kill me to wait 20 days! Have you had an experience like this?

I sometimes buy from China, but always knowingly. Things can take even a month or more.

(I have an order already exceeding a month).

Did you buy from an online vendor or off some facebook page... in which case have you paid US prices or China prices?

(I sounds like a bad deal to me, unless it was cheap)...

I am an impatient type, and trust me, I was pulling my hair out waiting for my first order from a China based e-cig vendor.

On the upside, it was cheap. The downside is it took between 3-4 weeks from order to door on my first purchase. I still buy from them (fasttech) but not stuff I can't wait for.

I'm UK based, I'm guessing it will vary where they are shipping to. Different shipping options and what not.

You will get it, just will take a while!

On a positive note, the stuff I've bought and received has been surprisingly good for the money. Silver lining ;)

Thanks for the information. Guess I'll sit tight and be patient.

I'm more worried for you that you just had a bad "steer". Facebook is a terrible place for e-cig recommendations.

The big e-cig brands in the UK use facebook, and you'd never think anyone had a bad word to say about the rip-off brands.

(It's fake.... probably paid for "likes" or something...)

Never trust social media. Trust in a forum instead.

I just got done sending you a PM from a letter your responded to, turn around and find a thread from you.
Anyway .. I've ordered from FT a few dozen times.
You can save a lot of money, but you do have to wait for the slow boat.
They are a great website to order from, but don't order juice, batteries, or chargers from them.
I don't know who you ordered from, but that pretty much goes for any china purchase,

There's a B & M smoke shop right next to Safeway in Marysville ..Smoky Joes .. if your in a hurry.
I only order stuff from China if I'm not in a hurry to get it. It really saves money.
I have to buy on the web, since it's over 70 miles to the closest shop for me to get too.
Also, FT will tell you if it authentic or not. If it says "style" , then it's a copy.
That said, their copies are pretty good, some say as good as the real ones.

Hope to keep "running" into you.
Welcome to vaping

Hi slots, You should make the trip to Mount Vernon. We have 3 smoke shops here that sell ejuice and equipment. All are small but you can compare prices and products. They are all pretty much close together. All with in a few blocks from one another and they are pretty completive. I guess there must be a lot of vapers here to support those business but I've been vaping a month and yet to meet any personally. So it's good to be here on the forum and talk to other vapers that way. Couldn't open your message...darn!

If you buy batteries from FastTech it takes a very long time--I bought a Twist from them, just to add to my stash of "just in case" stuff, and it was a month+ before it arrived. Other things (tanks, for example) take a couple of weeks. Really if you google you can find what you want for a decent price and no wait. I only order from FastTech for backup stuff that I don't care when it arrives. I have had good luck with prices on ebay BuyitNow for things and most are free shipping, so even if they cost the same at another vendor, it is less expensive.

I haven't bought from FastTech, but I've bought several items from China in the past off of ebay. I'd have to agree with most people here. Usually somewhere around that 2 weeks + mark. I think the longest I've had to wait was maybe 3 weeks, but maybe I've just been lucky. Did you get any kind of tracking information you can use to watch it?

One thing in ordering from outside the country, your package will always be inspected by Customs. Your box will even sometimes be opened and checked, and will have a customs slip on top to tell what it is. I went through this with Chinese sellers on Ebay, and man what a wait... so not only do you have to wait on the shipper, the shipping company, and then CUSTOMS, then back to shipping company. Each takes their time they are in no rush to get your stuff to you, well because they already got the money, and if customs deems it not legal to bring into the country you will lose the item all together, and no refunds for that.
